Software Engineer / Platform Engineering

About the Position

You will be joining the engineering team, in charge of Vast Platform development, covering areas of Large – Scale Data Processing, Analysis and Vertical Search.

Requirements

• BSc / MS degree (ETF/PMF), or equivalent experience
• Strong Computer Science background (algorithms, data structures, software design)
• Experience in developing large – scale Java server applications
• Experience in development on Unix/Linux platform, knowledge of scripting languages (Scala/Ruby/Python)

Ideal candidate will also have

• Experience in development of distributed algorithms for large – scale data processing (Machine Learning background is a plus)
• Experience in development on Apache Search / Data Processing open source stack (Hadoop, Mahout, Lucene)
