Location: Minneapolis, MN Description: Give learners the opportunity to make their voice heard by becoming part of Metro North Adult Basic Education 6,s cutting edge project for adult learner feedback! Conduct focus groups as a well-trained facilitator or note taker. Data you collect will be used by Metro North 6,s directors to enhance programming for adult learners. Metro North conducts focus groups at eleven sites in the north metro during March and October each year. Facilitator training will be conducted in JUNE. Focus groups are scheduled for morning, afternoon and evening time slots. Each group takes about 5 hours, including travel time and report writing. A wonderful opportunity to gain experience facilitating, connect with people from other cultures and most importantly, give adult students the opportunity to talk about their education!
