Location: CA Description: ABC Cat Rescue, is a no kill all volunteer organization who is dedicated to the rescuing, rehabilitating and giving a second chance of life for those who would otherwise not have one. We are a private rescue. We rescue cats from local shelters and we offer assistance for owners who can no longer keep their pets. All of our cats are placed in loving, well educated foster homes. We have specialists who are knowledgeable regarding Ragdolls, Persians, Maine Coons, Siamese, Himalayans, Exotics and mixes of these breeds. WHY WE NEED VOLUNTEERS Volunteers are an important part of our team. The kitties are the ones who benefit from it. You can choose to work directly with the cats or offer assistance in other ways. Some people enjoy taking care of the cats, while others may prefer to do clerical work. We welcome your talents and time in all forms. First-timers absolutely welcomed! We were all beginners at one time! Please do not hesitate to contact us if you think you might have a heart for this calling. It doesn 9,t take any special training or educational requirement to give love and care to these beautiful and deserving cats, just the desire to help.
