Getting Data from the Vast API

Vast.com provides a free, open API that we make available to certain partners whose business models are well aligned with our own. What constitutes “well aligned” varies by vertical, but in our core verticals of Auto, Travel and Real Estate, we generally like to work with smaller niche sites that will carry a slice of our data, and with large high-traffic sites that carry all of it. If you have questions about whether your intended use will be approved, you may email us at , or simply apply for a key and see what we say.

You MAY:

• Use our data for any commercial or non-commercial purpose not disallowed below

You MAY NOT:

• Use our data to feed your crawler or spider
• Use our data to promote illegal activities

You MUST:

• Include a prominently visible “Powered by Vast” attribution and link to Vast.com next to any content derived from our data
• Always link from any displayed result back to the source we supply with that result.
• Prominently display any sponsored links which Vast.com may elect to embed with the feed, either alongside, or inline with the non-sponsored results.
