The main entrance hallway, with wooden floors, leads through into the Living Room and the Study and the bright and comfortable living/dining room has wooden floors with fireplaces, and French windows looking out over the balcony to the street below. As well as being located in one of the most prestigious parts of the city (close to the luxurious Gritti Palace Hotel), it offers superb wide canal views from its elegant and tastefully decorated sitting and dining area as well as from the double bedroom. The kitchen area, which is also a part of the main room, is well equipped and the bathroom features a shower. Ideally placed for visiting the Teatro La Fenice closeby (reopened in 2004 after an 8 year and 60 million euro reconstruction) highly recommended whether attending a performance or taking advantage of the tours available. For those interested in hitting the shops, the fashionistas paradise otherwise known as Calle Larga XXII Marzo/Salizada San Moise with its high concentration of upmarket Italian designers, is virtually on your doorstep and leads directly into the heart of the city, St. Mark s Square. Or perhaps your visit will coincide with one of the open air antique markets occasionally held in Campo San Maurizio just steps away from Ca Del Giglio.
