Description:Lovely 1930 's knotty pine ocean view cabin right in the heart of Oceanside. Hear the ocean roar in this very comfortable 850 square foot cabin in front of the wood fireplace. nOnly a four minute walk to the beach, this cabin comes with a fully supplied kitchen, large Knotty Pine living room with vaulted ceiling, and comes with a stereo with CD player, Ipod hookup, high speed internet and phone service with free long distance calls throughout the US and Canada. n32 flat screen HDTV/ DVD player with expanded HD cable service, along with a 2nd HDTV/DVD player in the master bedroom, to relax during those blustery days. We have a large and varied collection of over 200 DVDs for your enjoyment. Large deck has a wonderful partial ocean view, a great view of Cape Lookout and a peak view of the Arch Capes. Kids are very welcome here with games, legos, toys and beach toys. We have a burley trailer that has been used to cart the smaller kids down to the beach. nOur kitchen is very well supplied and stocked. We have a large variety of pots, pans, a crab pot, all the staples, a variety of teas and spices (thanks to my wife who is a great cook). Having stayed at rental homes ourselves, we have been determined to provide our guests with a kitchen that leaves them feeling at home. Guests have told us they brought many more items from home that they found at our cabin. Description:This summer (and spring and autumn) house is 150 km from Athens( by car ferry boat) or 210 km (by car, crossing the Chalkis bridge) on the island of Evia.It is situated on the slope of a small hill, it is surrounded by pine trees and has a wonderful view. It is 80 meters away from the sea. There are no discos, restaurants or coffee shops around, the beach is sandy and very quiet. It is 13 km away from Edipsos, a famous spa city known from antiquity. During your stay, you can visit the Thermae Sylla Spa and try different types of treatment. The village Gialtra, where you can find most of the basic shops plus a pharmacy, is on the top of the hill, within walking distance (10 to 15 minutes). The house itself is 70 sq.m., it is furnished with taste but has no particular amenities. It is the ideal place for people who want to live for sometime in simplicity and enjoy nature, hiking (the place is surrounded by forests), swimming (the sea is very safe, as it is a small gulf) or surfing. Since we have decided to opt for an alternative way of life during our vacation, there is no television, computer,internet connection, telephone or any other electronic devices. However, if somebody feels the need to get again into contact with civilisation, there is the nearby city of Edipsos. A car is necessary! The house is composed of a living room with two balconies and an open kitchen and two bedrooms(one with a double and one with twin beds). There is one bathroom with shower box.
