A bed in a standard dorm is $25 per person per night (or $120 per week ) and includes continental breakfasts (8am 10:30 am daily), linen (security deposit only), lockers, parking and also entitles guests to purchase $9.50 guest meals and discounted drinks in our restaurant, Manly Deck. Other options include an ensuite dorm @ $30 per person per night, or $150 per person per week or a private room @ $75 per double per night or $475 per double per week. All extras are still included. We charge guest one nights fee if they cancel within 48 hours of their arrival date. We are located in Manly Harbour Village, a 30 minute train /​ car /​ shuttle ride from downtown Brisbane. We are an independent backpackers hostel, operated by a fantastic, friendly crew. All rooms include continental breakfast and linen . . . Guests also entitled to $9.50 evening meals & discounted drinks in our Manly Deck restaurant. We also cater to FAMILIES/​GROUPS. Our family rooms consist of a double bed and 6 singles with an ensuite and use of facilities and all other inclusions.

Only a little over an hour from Melbourne the air is fresh enough to taste and the views are of green hills, water and the bush. The garden has been designed to showcase the major cultures of Australia and includes indigenous flowering plants, bush food, a formal Italian garden, a Japanese garden, a productive Mediterranean garden and heaps of food gardens. These provide the seasonal ingredients for meals for our guests. The a la carte breakfast uses our own produce wherever possible - if not from our gardens then from local producers. nThe garden has been featured on TV and in numerous magazines and is open to the public for special occasions. They provide a romantic setting for the many weddings held at Janalli. Early morning and evening are the best times to stroll through the garden and these times are reserved exclusively for guests. nThe house is a typical Australian country house with wide verandas and large windows. Three suites provide for luxurious surroundings with ensuite bathrooms and sitting areas. All have private entrances and lead onto the verandas. A spa under the stars is located just off the verandah. The guest sitting room and breakfast area are located in a light filled conservatory. Gas fires make both this room and the bedrooms a cosy spot in the winter. We were at a conference at Novotel Brighton Beach and this is just a very quick walk away and a much nicer place to stay. Good off road parking and barbecue all add to a great stay. There are two 2 Bathrooms. n nThere is a CD player or you can connect your laptop computer or i-Pod to the stereo system. There is also Wi-Fi Internet access. If you need it, we have a TV (incl digital channels) and a DVD player. n nThe slow combustion log fireplace makes the house snug in winter. n nWhen we visit we like cooking so the well-equipped, modern kitchen (condiments and spices supplied) and outdoor BBQ area allow meal preparation to be part of your holiday experience.
