Look down. nIf you see a pretty red and yellow stone, then you 're re-living the experience of someone in 1860 who, after discovering Chalcedy (a semi-precious stone) named this place Carnelian Bay. And don 't be surprised if you see a sleek, wooden-hulled motorboat plying the waters. It could very well be a Gar Wood, named for the British inventor and racer, Garfield Wood. You are, after all, in Carnelian Bay: the place to be in the 1920s and '30s if you had a fast boat and wanted to show what it could do. But you don 't have to own a speedboat to enjoy this 3-bedroom, 2-bath condo right by beautiful Carnelian Bay. nIf a mountain man had retired to live by the shore, he could very well call this home.
