Description:This very welcoming four bedroom air-conditioned house is situated in the hilltop village of Goult, which is situated in the Luberon hills. Goult is equidistant between the picturesque villages of Gordes and Bonnieux. It is a wonderful area for walks and cycling, as well as driving tours to explore the many attractions of this diverse area. Situated on a hillside, the villa is surrounded by woodlands and has wonderful views over the valley. The exterior of the house is quite charming, a lovely terraced garden, planted with lavender and shrubs makes for a serene and private environment in which to revel and relax. On the same level as the house is the private 11 meter by 6 meter swimming pool with its surrounding terrace, furnished with exquisite wrought-iron sun loungers. A pretty covered terrace just outside the house is perfect for dining outdoors. All of the rooms at Un Charme A Goult have been decorated and furnished exquisitely in true Provencal style. Soft muted colours, traditional beamed ceilings and stone tiled floors form a backdrop for the country antique furniture, beautiful antique lights and mirrors and pretty curtains and bed linen. Everything is immaculate, yet very tasteful and welcoming. Amenities include satellite television, video, telephone/fax and central heating. Due to the high standard of the interiors and the terraced nature of the garden (flower beds rather than lawns), this property is not recommended for very young children. nOn the ground floor of this property one will find the well equipped kitchen and the dining room opening to the front terrace. The kitchen is separated from the dining area by an antique breakfast bar and is equipped with a large oven, microwave, large fridge/freezer with an ice and water dispenser, an espresso coffee machine and a toaster. Set in the vast, Three Valleys, the biggest ski area in the entire world, it offers unrivalled opportunities to skiers of all abilities and contrasting experiences, depending on where you stay. It is divided into 4 main resorts, with 1850 higher up the mountain (very pricey !) and the charming 1300 Le Praz which has retained much of its traditional charm but is not always blessed with such good snow as higher up the valley. nCourchevel 1650 is, without question, a great place to go en famille with an abundance of green and blue runs as well as some reds to challenge the more experienced. With most of the slopes over 1800m, the north facing aspect and the fantastic work that goes into grooming the pistes, not to mention artificial snow cannons, conditions are maintained to a very high standard throughout the season. nTo situate the residence in the ski-resort, click here nA network of swift, efficient lifts provide easy access to all the Three Valleys and mean you spend minimum time queuing and maximum time doing what you are there for. nMeribel and Val Thorens are easily accessible and provide a fantastic variety of skiing. nCourchevel 1850 is just a quick slide over the hill and the place to go if you are into celebrity spotting or want to practice your Russian skills… nWhilst it is fun to visit, returning to Courchevel 1650 is a bit like going home altogether more manageable in scale, comfortable, friendly and welcoming. You wont get lost here. There is one main street with a good range of ski shops, cafes, bars and restaurants as well as a wonderful charcuterie and wickedly tempting patisserie that add a whole new meaning to self catering. Apres ski is friendly with locals and visitors rubbing along nicely together. Its lively but not overwhelming. When youve been there once, prepare to be smitten. nThe residence is made out of 6 chalets, each with 4 to 6 apartments. All the apartments from 6 to 12 people have a fire place. nYou access the apartments via outside wooden pathways and stairs. nYou will have a nice clear view on the mountains and the Vallee de la Bozel. nThere is a spa, sauna and steam room at the residence for you to relax and forget about everything (payable). nThere is also a shared laundry. nThere are many shops nearby (5 minutes walk), such as a bakery, a dairy, a cinema and reataurants nThe start of the slopes is 250 m away. A 5 minutes walk. There is a free public bus that can drop you off just above the residence (timetable at the bus stop). nThere is an escalator at approx. 150m from the residence that will take you to the centre and from there, a further escalator situated approx. 100 m, will take you to the ski lifts.
