Very informative, fun and utterly ONOlicious.....bring some dark chocolate, raw Kauai honey and vanilla beans back for the folks at home! Just 3 miles down the hill in Kapa'a town you find all the shops, restaurants and cafes you might like to visit. Right by the Moikeha canal and the historic Japanese lantern you'll see the quaint public library with internet access. Of course, there are numerous cafes as well that offer wifi: Small Town Cafe, Cafe Hemingway and Starbucks, to name a few. Don't forget to visit the Ship Store Gallery (right next to the Hemp Store), especially if you are interested in Hawaiian history. They offer history lectures on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 9:30 to 11:00 using a lot of art by famous historic maritime painter, Raymond Massey. And yes, you got to try Olympic Cafe across the road for Happy Hour on Fridays, 4 to 7, cheap beer and free tacos! That's just a few places in Kapa'a town........ The closest beach which is safe for swimming at any time is Lydgate Beach Park, right next to the Wailua River mouth. it's a 60-acre park with lots of amenities, walled seawater ponds, showers, pavilions, picnic tables, barbecue pits, playground, lifeguard station and a 2-mile-long path for walking, jogging, cycling and more.

Description:The home: Spindrift is an estate type residence dramically perched above the Pacific on the North Coast of Kauai in the resort community of Princeville. The home commands one of the most breathtaking locations in Hawaii and offers guests panoramic views out over the Pacific as well as views of 30 miles of the Northern Kauai coastline. It has a secluded and accessable beach directly below the house for swimming and snorkeling. It is nearby to two golf courses, tennis courts, fine dining and shopping experiences and some of the best beaches, and surfing, diving and snorkeling areas in the Hawaiin Islands. The Interior of Home: The home has two full living rooms, each having floor to cieling windows which face directly out to the Pacific and each living room has a working fireplace and 25 ft cielings. There is a large dining room which also aces out to the ocean and which leads directly outside to a large lanei (deck) with luonge furniture for relaxation and dining. The kitchen has a breakfast nuck, and is fully stocked for any culinary experience The large master bedroom on the second floor has it 's ownviewing deck, floor to cieling windows, a 25ft cieling and a large attached bath. It has a king size bed set and TV Each of the first floor guest rooms has its own separate bath. There is queen bed set in one guest room and two twin beds in another. Each has floor to cieling windows facing out to the ocean, and one has it 's own lanei. Below the first floor, with a private entrance, and a dramatic view of the ocean is a large yoga studio with mirrored walls and a polished wood floor.
