We supply firewood so that you can have many great campfires. n nThe lodge is located on Lower Soft Maple Reservoir and connected to Upper Soft Maple Reservoir via a channel suitable for motorboats. The lodge comes with a 2011 22-foot Sweetwater pontoon boat with a 70 hp Yamaha motor, which is included in summer weekly rentals. Perfect for getting around both of the lakes. Enjoy hot summer afternoons on the water. The boat is great for fishing and swimming. n nWe have a new high quality dock and swimming raft. The water is about 8-10 feet deep at the end of the dock so that you can enjoy diving and jumping off the end. The apartment is close to everything Trader Joes, many other grocery stores, Lefferts Boulevard shopping, Austin Street shopping, numerous restaurants, 2 blocks to E/F trains and shuttle to St. John's University, 3 blocks to Long Island Railroad train station, 1 block to beautiful Forest Park with biking, hiking, and horse trails, easy and quick access to both JFK and LaGuardia airports, libraries, etc. It is a quick train ride to Manhattan and other areas of the city. It is very centralized, so great for sightseeing or a stopover from the airport. The neighborhood and building are both very quiet. The apartment and building are well kept. The bathroom, kitchen, and living area are shared (with two others) and very clean. There is full access to the large kitchen and plenty of space for food storage. Some meals can be arranged and free, homemade cookies are available upon arrival. Free wireless internet is available and there are large washers/dryers in the apartment building available for laundry. Do you need anything here when you arrive? We can arrange to have metro cards, groceries, toiletries, a meal, ect., available upon your arrival. Our goal is to provide you with a home away from home while in NYC. Please note: We do have two small pets that stay in a cage or playpen in the living room. They are not allowed in the guest areas and are kept quite clean.
