Hire a 4x4 and go off roading to the furthest parts of this huge undeveloped peninsula to deserted beaches and views that will take your breath away. r nThe Akamas peninsula is paradise for walking and mountain biking, especially in the Spring. There are also several karting places and Paphos has its own water park. r n r nGolf r nThere are three good golf courses within easy reach from the apartment. The excellent Tsada Golf course is a 25 min drive, Secret Valley (18 holes) golf course and spa is 35 mins and the exclusive Aphrodite Hills golf course is just a further 5 mins by car. r n r nBooking notes r nProvisional bookings are accepted in writing by email or fax and will be held for 3 days pending receipt of deposit. Reasonably priced! r n r nVilla Panorama is a pretty recently built, part stone-clad, detached villa, set high up on a hill with panoramic views of the sea and coastline. Situated on the well-known golf course development, it is well positioned within the development of Secret Valley/Venus Rock, this property has another villa on one side, open space in front with views to the sea and views of the mountain range to the rear. r n r nSometimes there is building work on the development but none close to our villa at the moment. We will advise if the situation changes prior to your holiday and give you the opportunity to cancel if the building work is very close to Villa Panorama. r n r nThe villa itself is very comfortably furnished, with plenty of windows to enjoy the views and large open terraces leading to the private pool with its walk-in steps. The garden is landscaped with flowering shrubs and topiary. There are many paved terraces and a shady area. There is also a BBQ, 8 sun loungers and covered car port. r n r nThe coastline in the area is remarkable and the famous e2809cPetra tou Romioue2809d, the stunning rock formation reputed to be the birthplace of Aphrodite, the goddess of love, is within 10 minutes drive. There are beaches all along this coastline, the nearest of which is within 5 minutes drive. r n r nThere is a restaurant at the Secret Valley/Venus Rock Clubhouse (approx 2 kms) and there are a number of other restaurants available within 10 e28093 15 minutes drive, both along the road to Paphos and also in nearby Aphrodite Hills. Description:Our 1000 sf (93m) 2 bedroom air conditioned apartment is situated in Tala, a traditional Greek Cypriot village which is surrounded by elegant private villa 's and small apartment buildings. n nOur large covered verandah overlooks a valley with stunning 180 degree panoramic views of the Paphos coastline & Mediterranean. n nIn the village square there are a number of restaurants, taverna 's and two grocery stores. These are just an easy 5 minute stroll away. A British deli, chemist and laundry are also just minutes walk away. n nThe apartment is managed by a British couple who will meet/greet you when you arrive at the apartment. If you have any questions or problems during your stay, do not hesitate to contact them. They are there to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. n nIncluded in your rental is a complimentary Welcome Pack (for stays of 7 nights or more) which has basic staples such as bread, milk, eggs, butter, tea, coffee and sugar.. n nA lift/elevator will take you to our spacious 4th floor apartment which is part of Tala Hills 1. n nWe have furnished the entire apartment to a very high standard with imported furniture, furnishings and artworks. n nThe lounge and dining area are bright, open and airy. n nThe lounge has a custom made sofa which converts to a full and comfortable double bed. There are also two large rattan chairs, a large coffee table, two side tables and a floor rug. The lounge can comfortably seat in excess of 6 people and the entire living space is great for entertaining n nThe entertainment system has a large flat screen T.V.and a dvd/cd/vhs combo player. n nThe dining area is spacious and furnished with a Georgian style table and six upholstered chairs. n nAdjacent to the lounge / dining room is a separate, well designed and fully equipped kitchen which includes a washing machine, a dishwasher. as well as a fridge/freezer, oven, counter top hob, microwave, electric kettle, toaster and coffee maker. There is of course, cutlery, china and glasswares together with cooking utensils, pots, pans etc. n nA hallway leads to the fully tiled and bright bathroom (bath/shower combo) as well as the large master bedroom and the second double bedroom. n nBoth bedrooms are furnished with imported furniture including the beds/mattresses as well as bedside tables and dressers with mirrors. A hair dryer is in each bedroom. The master bedroom also has an electric alarm clock. Both bedrooms have floor to ceiling fitted wardrobes. n nThe lounge and the master bedroom lead onto the large covered verandah where you have the most stunning views of Paphos and the Mediterranean. On the verandah is a table with 6 chairs. Here you can sit and enjoy the views and the sounds of song birds as you enjoy your breakfast. During the evening enjoy the many magnificent sunsets as you sip a nice glass of wine. n nDuring the cooler months, the air conditioning units convert to heaters. n nThere is a large swimimng pool which is surrounded by well groomed gardens and grounds. Sunbeds are supplied. but bring your own beach towels as these are not supplied. Showers and wc are located by the pool. n nFor your convenience we have had a safe installed. n nTo get the most pleasure from your trip, we do recommend that you hire a car. There is ample private off road parking. at Tala Hills 1 . n nIf you hire a vehicle, then this can be picked up and dropped off at the airport. n nBy car from/to Paphos airport is an approx 25 to 30 minute drive. From/to Larnaca airport is approx 75 to 90 minutes. Full directions from either Paphos or Larnaca airport can be forwarded to you once a booking has been completed. n nIt is about an 10 to 15 minute drive to the beaches and the town of Paphos with its historic harbour & sites, shops, restaurants, market, supermarkets and banks. n nThree 18 hole championship international golf courses are within an easy drive of the apartment. The nearest (Tsada) is an approx 15 minute drive away. n nIf you do not decide to rent a car then : n n- Taxis are reasonable. Recently, guests stayed at the apartment and they only used taxis. n nThey said that the drivers were all friendly, helpful and punctual. Approx cost from Paphos airport to the apartment Euro 40. From or to the town of Paphos, approx Euro 10 each way. n n- There is a bus service (daytime only) from Tala into Paphos which runs Monday through Friday and Saturday morning. There is no service on Sundays. From the Paphos main bus terminal you can then connect to other destinations. n nTala Village square is literally a 5 minute level walk from the apartment. The nearest beach Ayia Thekla is a 5 minute drive, it is 10 minutes to the water park in Ayia Napa and the world famous Nissi beach, head East and you are 5 minutes from paralimini where there are plenty of shops and supermarkets. Protaras is a further five minutes drive, so there is plenty to see and do. r n r nTestimonial:- r n r nHave just come back from a fantastic weeks holiday with my four teenage children. The villa and location was perfect for all the different age groups.The villa had its own pool plus TV, playstation and ipod docking station which was a great bonus. The older kids were able to go out in Aya Napa in the evenings as it was close enough for a taxi ride home or we could take a five minute walk into the village and eat at one of the local Tavarnas and enjoy a drink without the worry of driving. There were many different sandy beaches and a constant welcome breeze off the sea which was needed as the weather was hot and predictable. There was loads to do and the kids loved all the water sports and with so many different beaches to chose from, each day was very different. The oldest part of the village still shows evidence of the original ways of Cypriot living. There are local shops, bakeries, supermarkets, butchers, florists, fruit and veg shops and restaurants situated in Peyia village. Whilst the village is hilly, the views all around are breathtaking, and looking out to sea on the way down is spectacular. Inevitably a car is probably a 'must have' in Peyia, although there is a good local taxi service and bus service down to Coral Bay available. r n r nTransfer time from Paphos International Airport between 40-50 minutes. Transfer service is available with pre arranged booking with local taxi company. A car is necessary as Peyia is a village set in the hillside 15km away from Paphos town and 3km from Coral Bay. Many flights operate into Paphos on a daily basis from all over the world. Flying into Larnaca is a 2 hour transfer. r n r nApartment is available all year round, arrival and departure dates are flexible, please note a small security bond will be requested at time of booking but returned within 2 weeks after apartment has been inspected for damages/breakages. r n r nBookings of 2 weeks or more will be discounted, please ask when enquiring. r n r n r n r n
