LOCATION!: Located in the creative quarter of the old town (Cuitat Vella), right in the center of Barcelona. Raval really is the best kept secret - with many hidden places to discover in a very multi-cultural community. It is only two blocks to the new part of town called Eixample - but far enough from it's traffic and cars! The apartment is near many big supermarkets, fruit/veg markets, public transport and the tourist attractions. The area is safe and only 10 minutes walk to the Ramblas, 25 minute walk to the beaches. There are loads of restaurants, bars, cafes and vegetarian options within minutes. All of the convenience without the fight with the other tourists! TRANSPORT: 5 mins to Metro Parallel/Funicular to Montjuic, 8 mins to Metro Sant Antoni, 12 mins to Metro Liceu, 12 mins to the Aerobus (stop Urgell), 5 mins to Bus 64 to beach, 15 mins by taxi to airport (25-30€) THE BUILDING AND AREA: The west-facing apartment is a little building on top of the roof (atico).
