Description:La Luz Barcelona is beautiful and spacious old-style apartment (85m2) next to the beach of Barcelona. La Luz Barcelona gives you an experience of traditional Spain. You could be meeting Antoni Gaudi here. The floor is covered with original tiles from the 1900's with mosaic patterns, the doors are in colonial style and the apartment is built in the typical Bóveda Catalana (Catalan vault) way, which is a type of low arch made of plain bricks. It is traditionally constructed by laying bricks lengthwise over wooden beams. The thick walls keep the apartment cool during the hot summer. There is a small balcony where you can sit and have a nice breakfast. You will feel the Mediterranean atmosphere right away. And last but not least, the beach is right around the corner from La Luz Barcelona. It is a 4 minute walk down to the beach. You can live your dreams in La Luz. So, relax, dream away in the warm Spanish sun and have a fabulous time. Facilities When you enter La Luz, you find a big living room with a big comfortable couch on your left, with double doors opening on a French balcony. The balcony is connected to the dining area and the open kitchen. Next are the two bedrooms: two master bedrooms, all equipped with double beds and ceiling fans. On the other side of La Luz, you find the gallery with the toilets on the left, and the bathroom with a shower on the right. The apartment is equipped with central heating to keep everything and everybody warm and cosy in the winter, which can sometimes be a bit chilly at night (although you will still have a clear blue sky and sunshine). The climate in Barcelona is a lot different and smoother than in Northern Europe. Winter in Barcelona is like springtime further north. That is a nice warm spring, without rain and with clear blue skies. Pueblo nuevo means new village. It really is a new village. New luxurious apartment blocks have been built everywhere. However, La Luz is located in one of the few old buildings still remaining in Pueblo Nuevo. There are only 6 apartments in it, all residential, and your neighbours are all Spanish. T.V. We have an extensive DVD collection for you to choose from if you fancy a night chilling on the sofa. The italian design kitchen is fully fitted with Bosch electrical appliances, dishwasher, ceramic hob, oven and microwave, and all the necessary - Kettle, Toaster, Juicer, Blender etc. There is a wide selection of spices so that you may enjoy culinary delights if you choose. There will be a welcome pack on your arrival which will vary according to the season. Please do not hesitate to contact me for any special requests. There are three bedrooms, the main bedroom boasts a king size bed, walk-in wardrobe, en-suite bathroom with hydro-massage bath and shower, the second bedroom is a double with fitted wardrobe and the third has bunk beds also with fitted wardrobe. There is a shower room with a massage column, WC and washing machine. The apartment has a domestic system installed so there are speakers throughout to listen to music or television, smoke and water detectors. All bed linen, towels and pool towels are provided and the apartment is cleaned once a week. Should you require extra cleaning this can be organized with an extra charge.The apartment complex has beautiful well maintained gardens and a superb swimming pool built on the rocks. Whilst swimming one can enjoy the Mediterranean sea breeze! If you prefer to swim in the sea, you can either walk straight down to the rocks in front of the apartment or visit either of the beaches that are on either side of the complex. There is secure parking within the complex. There are 3 restaurants in the vicinity and in the nearby town there are an infinite amount of restaurants to tickle your taste buds. Sitges is a beautiful town to visit and is only 10 minutes drive. Vilanova i la Geltrú boasts wonderful beaches and a superb fresh food market which is well worth a visit.
