Description:Villeta Eva is a quaint lakeshore cottage wonderfully positioned right on the shore of Lake Maggiore near the town of Lesa. nNamed after the very friendly owner who speaks excellent English, this semi-detached house has been very tastefully restored and furnished and has its own private dock and beach. The nearest village is Solcio (approximately 500 meters from the house) with an excellent food shop (open Sunday morning), a church and a 3 star restaurant. Lesa at 1 km offers a variety of services such as a post office, pharmacy, gas station and cafc3a9 and restaurants. nVilleta Eva rents from SATURDAY to SATURDAY. nVilleta Eva presents a very private and peaceful setting thanks to its location far away from the busy lake shore road that encircles the lake. Located in an exclusive residential area in a former palace garden, access to the house is via a private road with entrance gate. The property with its spacious and manicured garden is on this small lane and there is direct access to the lake only a few steps from the house. Constructed in the shape of an 'L', Villeta Eva has two wings connected by a common courtyard. One wing is the residence of Eva and the other wing is our guest accommodation. There is a furnished outdoor area private for guests outside this section of the house. nVilleta Eva features nTastefully and carefully decorated, Villeta Eva offers a romantic holiday on the shore of the lake. Linens are changed once per week. Includes lake access and private mooring. On approval of the owner, a well behaved dog is welcome for a fee of 60 Euros per week. This bedroom is connected to the rest of the house through the passage single bedroom with single bed (1.15 m wide). Steps lead from the single bedroom to the upper floor. Adjacent to the single bedroom there is a well appointed bathroom with an old-fashioned marble bathtub and a modern shower. Furthermore there is a spacious, bright living area with a fireplace, large arched French doors leading to the garden and a professional-sized billiard table. The kitchen is well equipped, large and fully functional. Before entering the kitchen, you will find a nice dining corner by the window, also with direct access to the garden. nUpper floor: nOverlooking the single bedroom from a lofted area is the master bedroom with air-conditioning. On this upper level is a second, smaller and more simply furnished single bedroom appropriate for a child under 6. Air conditioning in master bedroom included in the rental fee. nOutside: nWell manicured lawn stretches down to the lake. The beach is 50 meters from the villa. There are also 2 golf courses within 10-15 min. by car and 7 more within 45 min. The ferry to the other beautiful lake resort towns and islands docks at Belgirate just 10 minutes away on foot. There is also a pedestrian route behind the house that offers a panoramic view of Lake Maggiore and that leads (5 min.) to the nearby town of Lesa. There, you can find grocery shops and restaurants and there is also the possibility to order and take out delicious meals at the nearby Rapanello Restaurant in Lesa. nAbout Lake Maggiore nLago Maggiore is a magical glacial lake anchoring the mountains, which step up into the Italian Alps. This is the heart of the 'Lakes District' of Italy, an area with a noted northern influence blending beautifully with all things Italian. nThis is an area devoted to being outdoors on land or water, with plenty of small villages to explore and more than enough stunning scenery to fill a vacation. There is excellent hiking in the Valle Grande and elsewhere, and equally excellent golfing with two golf courses nearby (fifteen minutes by car) and more than seven within forty minutes' drive. nTours in the area include Stresa, the Borromeo Islands, Brissago Islands, Arona, Villa Taranto with its botanical gardens and the Cannero Riviera. A ten minute drive gets you to the ferry launches in Belgirate, and romantic Lake Orta with Isola S.Giulio is only a fifteen minute drive. Five minutes away by car, Stresa lies in a wonderful setting and offers the Grand hotel des Iles Borromc3a9es, beauty, fitness and anti-stress programs with the most modern equipment. Two swimming pools are available in Stresa, as well as a tennis court, steam bath, sauna and hydro massage. The city also offers a fabulous variety of restaurants, cafc3a9s and shops. nWater sports such as sailing ,windsurfing, water skiing are available in Stresa, Belgirate and Lesa. nMilan's Malpensa airport is 27 miles away. nOnly a child six years or younger is accepted as a sixth person for 150 Euros.
