There is a gym with exercise machine. n nWe provide linens, dishes, cooking utensils, and firewood, but not food. Description:About the Apt. Located in well-maintained, 1920's historic apartment building in the SOFA Arts District. -Hardwoods floors throughout, all original fixtures and moldings. Charming kitchen with original icebox intact. -Every room in the apartment has large, picture frame windows lots of eastern and northern exposure. -Freshly painted, spotless. -Sparsely furnished with queen bed, sofa, kitchen utensils and basic bathroom, in modernish aesthetic. It's a lovely, no-fuss apartment and I am hoping to find folks who will enjoy it as much as I do. There is ample street parking. It's quiet, only two other units on the floor. Perfect for cyclists enjoying SoCo there's room in the apartment to store two bikes, maybe three. There is a floor pump available. About the Area SOFA (South of A Street) is home to Santa Rosa's arts community. The apartment is located between several points of interest (see map for guidebook). Picturesque Julliard Park is a block down the street. An .8 mi bike ride/walk away is the Fourth Street shopping and restaurant district which includes the well-known Russian River Brewery. Santa Rosa's oldest diner, the Cook House is across the street. Locally-owned Atlas Coffee shop is one block away. Historic and quaint Railroad Square offers more restaurants (American, Thai, wine bars) and speciality shopping, like antiques. Dierk's Parkside restaurant, with its great brunch, is a few blocks away. Things To Do You can be sipping and cycling within a few miles of leaving South A Street. Walk two blocks north from the apartment and you are on the 22 mi. long Prince Memorial Greenway, which runs along the Santa Rosa Creek as far as Sebastopol. It is as perfect for exercise as it is for taking short or long explorations to other destinations in the area. Visit the Sonoma County wineries by bike throughout Russian River and Dry Creek Valleys. Do the incredibly scenic 50 mi. loop to Occidental and back. Description:You will have the entire lower floor of my house. You have your own entrance-there is no inter-floor connection to the upper floor where I live. The lower floor has a kitchen, living room, bathroom and a bedroom with a covered deck looking out on the redwoods and Russian River from your hammock. The entire floor has views of redwoods and hills across the river. Wi-Fi is throughout the unit. Large flat screen TV and a CD player are in the bedroom. IPod dock in the living room. The hot tub deck is just steps from the bedroom and is available for your use. There is a 3 car parking deck so you will have your own parking place. The house is one mile from River Road--the main highway from US 101 freeway to the coast. It is very quiet and is on a private dead-end dirt road that is wonderful to walk on. Everything you would want to see in Sonoma county is close at hand. Wineries, restaurants, beaches are all 20 minutes away.

Description:Charming, light-filled sonoma coast vacation house on the ocean side of hwy 1 at Fort Ross in Timber Cove. This is the Sonoma coast (1.5. hr drive from sonoma wine country, or 1 hr drive from Calistoga or 45 min. from Healdsburg. There are great views of the ocean from almost every room, including some white water views. Hot tub on deck overlooking ocean. Two sunny decks. Sleeps six. Beautiful interior with stone floors, wood floors, lots of sun, wood burning fireplace. Watch the deer play in the yard...fantastic birds, wild flowers, lavender. Five minute drive to the Timber Cove Inn and 20 min drive to the Sea Ranch lodge if you enjoy fine dining. The house is only 2 hrs from SF (twenty min. drive north of Jenner). You'll love it. Dogs welcome. 2 night min on weekends 250/night weekends but 175 on weekdays -for longer stays- reasonable rates HOLIDAYS slightly higher prices. Gwen
