Description:We built a lovely duplex behind our 140 year old home (the cottage you see picture). In it are 2 townhouses. Each has 2 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths, full kitchen, and outdoor deck. We restored the house in 1998.In 2001 we built the duplex in the same style as the cottage. The duplex boasts a tower, complete with “witches cap”. We furnished each townhouse with an eclectic mix of family heirlooms and new craftsman style furniture.Features include hand-inlaid wood floors, a bay window/window-seat, and a fireplace in the living room. Both units have decks. The “A” open-air deck is 20 ft by 25ft, furnished with glass-topped wrought iron umbrella table and 6 chairs and a 2 person glider for occasional seating – ideal for a BBQ, board games, and sunbathing. The cozy “B” covered deck extends into 1/2 octagon of the tower. It is fully under roof which makes it a wonderful and cozy outdoor room. Situated just off the kitchen, the deck can become a private retreat for morning coffee, an outdoor room that's just perfect for a luncheon, a bridge game, an intimate candlelit dinner, or a nightcap.These are 2 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath units, each on two floors, with sleeping capacity for up to 6. There is a king bed in the master, and twin beds in the second bedroom. The living room couch is a futon that can be made into a double bed.
