The apartment on the 8th floor goes up to the 10th with an internal staircase to the roof garden. Upon entering there is a foyer, with a spacious guest half bath, tiled in natural stone with large mirrors and recessed lighting. All of the the flooring is natural Brazilian oak in a strip pattern, giving a bright feel to complement the open aspect of the room through the glass doors to the large balcony. This is the side of the building overlooking the dock, and there is endless activity on view of sail boats coming and going, and people watching as they stroll along the waterside. The balcony has an electric awning to shade the room, or to make sitting outside more comfortable in the heat of the midday sun. The kitchen, an integral part of the open plan living area, is closest to the foyer. White, Carrera marble counters and hidden appliances give this area a smooth look, the dishwasher, the washer/dryer, the fridge and freezer are all behind dark wood doors.
