Description:Rent my beautiful guest bedroom! I have a very large (1200 sq. ft.), 2.5 bedroom, nicely decorated apartment in a fabulous, quiet, safe neighborhood in the center of LA, and am renting out the large guest bedroom on a nightly, weekly, or month to month basis short term only. This isn't some crappy box like apartment with just a futon in the corner, in a bad part of town. This is one of the nicest parts of town and is a huge, beautiful residence with all the amenities and wonderful tenants all of that is not necessarily the easiest to find in this city. If you don't know the area, location is ideal. It's very centrally located. Everything (beach, valley, airport, east side) is about 20 25 minutes by car, and if you don't have a car, every kind of business you might need to visit in LA is within walking distance (2 6 blocks, at most): The Grove Mall Melrose Ave. Cool clothes shopping (the Grove Mall, Melrose Ave.) Park (across street has playground, basketball courts, and running area, lit @ night, too) Grocery Stores (Health food store/deli, Whole Foods, CVS pharmacy, Super K Mart, 7 11) Coffee shop with free wireless Restaurants/Bars: Italian, Pan Asian, Spanish tapas, Thai take out, healthy lunch/breakfast place. My street is smack dab in the center of what's considered LA's alternative restaurant row. Post office (across street) Fairfax District (Jewish neighborhood, temples, kosher stores & restaurants) Library Bank Bus stop (in case you don't have a car) Although the apartment is very close to businesses, the actual street where residence is located is an ultra quiet, tree lined, neighborhoody street with permit parking for residents (and guests i.e., you) only. Building is a 1920's Spanish colonial quad plex with friendly, quiet neighbors. Apartment (including bedroom for rent) is fully furnished and has been called very warm and cozy by visitors, despite the large rooms (see pics which, because rooms are so large, generally only show half the room). Place is light and airy, with 14' beamed ceilings, hardwood floors, archway, (non working) fireplace. Front wall overlooking street is all french door windows. Electric and plumbing have been redone. Great water pressure. Wonderful vibe. I have wireless, laundry, and both a tub and shower (picture below only shows tub side). Bedroom for rent has super comfy king sized bed, lounger chair, clock/radio, flat screen TV with DVD/VCR, 2 dressers, a desk, closet, and plenty of shelving, storage, and light. I do still live here (i.e., I would still be here while you were here), but I try to be as unobtrusive as possible during your stay, and would want any short term tenant to feel comfortable enough to come and go as they please, and make this a home away from home while here, we are quite a family in the building here. I would only ask the following: Non smoker preferred, but if you must smoke, please do so outside No pets (I sometimes dogsit to help friends out, but that's usually brief and temporary.) Be respectful (to home, to stuff, to other building residents, including myself) Pay when move in, and add a $100 security deposit to amount owed, if you leave everything as you found it, deposit will be returned to you. To clarify again, you would only be renting the master bedroom as your space alone, the common areas (kitchen, laundry, living room, dining room, hallway, bathroom) would still be shared with me. Accordingly, prefer renting to just 1 guest, will consider 2 people only for very short stays. Thanks a mil!

Brother's Trip, Nathan and Matthew Hosley and Chef Ben Paula who own Sauce restaurant now operate the 9 room Inn upstairs as well. “Boutique Hotel” sounds a little frilly and we aren’t exactly a B&B, a hotel or a motel. Sleep Over Sauce is eight guest rooms above our award winning restaurant Sauce that can be rented individually or as a group. We offer a great little spot for your company or family to gather in San Francisco with comfortable beds, private bathrooms, a business center and an awesome common area for gathering or relaxing. Don’t waste any time looking for a front desk, there isn’t one, the bartender at Sauce has everything you need. This listing is for our standard room. These rooms all have private, attached bathrooms, the rooms are well appointed and comfortable, with over sized comforters, plush towels and bedding and cable tv. Located at 131/135 Gough Street, we are in the bustling Hayes Valley neighborhood, with excellent shopping and dining, as well as easy access to public transportation or a short walk to the Civic Center. The Opera, Ballet, Symphony, Asian Art Museum and City Hall are just a few blocks from our door. The Mission is a 5 minute walk and The Castro and The Haight are just a couple MUNI stops away, or if you prefer you can go straight down the tracks to the Ferry Building and Fisherman’s Warf. There is no better home base for exploring San Francisco and you might never even leave Hayes Valley! We have different rooms for different amounts, ranging from $125 for our smallest room to $230 for a double room suite or $1200 a night for all 9 rooms. Room Night Cancellations: Our policy is intended to be fair to our guests, yet prevent the loss of income to our business. Due to our small size, cancellations do affect us significantly. Once we reserve a room for you, we remove it from the market, refusing all other requests. Below, we have listed our cancellation refund/fee schedule. 14 Days Notice FULL REFUND 7 14 Days Notice $55 CANCELLATION FEE. Less than 7 Days Notice FORFEIT FULL DEPOSIT (one Night rental.) Services close by and Parking: There is a laundry mat across the street as well as a Live Fit gym just a block away with $10 daily membership plus all the shopping (including two small markets) in Hayes Valley. There is an ATM at the convienence store on the corner, as well as a Bank Of America about 2 blocks away. MUNI busses and Trains are a block in any direction and the Civic Center Bart stop is about a 10 minute walk (no hills) We do not have parking, but there are 4 lots close by. We are unaffiliated with the lots, who's charges range from $10 for 12 hours to $22 a day. The Parking garage on Grove and Gough offers an overnight special, no ins and outs from 9 pm 8 am for $5.00. The surface lots are located as follows: One is on Oak and Frankiln, one is on Hayes and Octavia, and there are two (on opposite corners) on Grove and Gough
