Description:This is a lovely remodeled bungalow we use as our own vacation getaway..It is two full master suites each with full bath. It has been cared for with pristine attention to detail and is lovely. Full kitchen with all the amenities a chef will need to prepare wonderful gourmet meals. Including Wolf gas range and oven all stainless appliances with dishwasher, fridge and Culligan filtered water. The living room space is very open with vaulted ceilings and halogen designer light fixtures. The dining room is large with table and seating for up to six. The living room has a flat screen HD TV with surround sound going out onto the patio for your music enjoyment. Living room has a wonderful wood burning fireplace and we supply all the wood you will need. It is equipped as the firepit is with a gas lighter for easy starting. We also have IPOD docking stations for your musical enjoyment. The living room is one wall of French doors that open up to a beautiful patio with Italian tile and a firepit, a Vermont Castings gas barbecue and a dining set with an umbrella ..Also large Adirondack chairs for sitting by the firepit in the evenings. The yard is an English flower garden with large Very old Valley Oaks that shade the yard. There is a fig tree and a Meyer lemon tree and pathways that meander thru the yard. Our location is a quiet residential neighborhood about one mile west of the Sonoma Plaza. We are near the Sonoma Creek and evening times all you hear are frogs and crickets it is very serene and Zen like and some guests have called it a little slice of heaven. We strive to keep our property beautiful and updated as we use it for our own getaway. The patio also has a water fountain. In the evenings our yard is surrounded by little white mini lights making for a magical feel... r n r nThe bedrooms are special with pillowtop high quality mattresses and all down bedding including pillows and luxury white linens and duvet covers. The bathrooms each have a soaking tub and walk in showers with rainshower heads and handhelds. Each master is private from the other and each has special features one is off the back patio and separated by sliding doors the other is light and bright with two large windows and has a sitting room area with down sofa and work desk if needed. Baths are stocked with all white fluffy towels, handtowels and washclothes. Nexus Shampoos, Conditioner and Neutrogena Shower Gels and for the ladies oatmeal lavender facial soaps. r n r nThe kitchen is very well equipped we have beautiful dishware and serveware and all clad stainless for cooking. The wineglasses are crystal and the kitchen is stocked with staples and spices for your use. We replenish as needed. We have blender, coffee maker, Cuisinart, microwave, mixer, etc..All you need just like home away from home!! r n r nThe cottage has soft sage colors and is furnished in Pottery Barn decor with bright art on the walls and the flooring is Italian tile with big bright oriental rugs. The lighting throughout the house is all halogen with dimmer switches. r n r nYou are greeted with a platter of fresh fruit and brie and crackers and Ghiradelli chocolates on arrival. We have had two PGA pro golfers stay at the cottage. They were playing in the Schwab Cup tournament while it was played at the Sonoma Golf Club.

This cottage comes equipped with cable TV featuring free movie channels, wireless internet service, and access to a cell phone. We provide luxury linens, oversize towels, and robes for your comfort. For larger groups the Heron Cottage is next to the Stellar Jay and Hummingbird Cottages. Privacy gates between cottages can be unlocked and opened if a group were to rent the whole compound. With all gates unlocked, guests have access to each other’s yards and the common area. Here are picnic tables, sitting areas, and a campfire ring for morning and evening gatherings. You may rent more than one cottage to accommodate your party’s needs, up to 16 adults.
