Description:Sleeps 6, from $545/night - Hotel Chauvet was originally built in 1906 and celebrated its centennial with a spectacular restoration and renovation, painstakingly accomplished over two years. The result is a historic landmark building with six luxurious vacation rentals, rejuvenated with locally made brick and reappointed by craftsmen, while upscale interior and state-of-the art amenities have been added. The lodging experience at The Chauvet is truly unique! Each unit is generously sized at almost 2,000 square feet. The large master bedrooms include a huge walk-in closet. The other two bedrooms in each unit are spacious as well. Both baths boast designer fixtures but the master features a jetted tub and separate glass enclosed shower with massage jets and rainhead. The kitchen would please any gourmet, and is outfitted with custom cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, wine cooler and commercial-style gas cooktop, among other delights. Of course, if you don't want to cook for yourself, you are just steps away from Glen Ellen's restaurant row with a myriad of delicious choices... or walk across the street to Glen Ellen's own gourmet market. Located near Guerneville and Healdsburg, Summerland Cabin is a perfect, cozy 1938 cabin set in the towering redwoods overlooking the Russian River near Steelhead Beach and Burke's Canoe Rental. Or warm your muscles in the large hot tub that is practically on top of the river. Summerland has 2 decks over the river and one in the front of the house. You have a full kitchen, a dining area and a very large 15 x 25 living space. There are 3 cozy bedrooms, one bathroom with shower and a half bath off the main bedroom. The front of the large property has blackberry bushes and a fruit orchard which bears apples, pears, figs, cherries and plums. The bedrooms maintain a cozy cabin feel with a great mix of tasteful decor and comfortable furniture. You can walk down the short trail to the river for a splash or to fish, walk 5 minutes upstream to the beach at Steelhead Beach Park. Or go meditate in the circular stand of redwoods. Take a short 15 minute drive to Healdsburg or Sebastopol. Five minutes from Guerneville. Sleeps 6: Large BR with Queen, Small BR with Double, Tiny BR with 2 Twin Beds. This is a personal residence and a wonderful, rustic cabin set in the redwoods, so you may see a spider or cobweb or leaves that have fallen onto the deck. It is not a 4 star hotel, but you'll love it! It is also a short drive to Santa Rosa.
