The guardian/ house keeper takes care of all the issues relating to your comfort but is unobtrusive and mindful of privacy. This is a very special and stylish house which delights all who stay here. It was designed by Sean Connerys architect for himself before he moved to Marrakesh. It has a wonderful setting and has been much loved as a house for families and groups of friends who find the peaceful tranquility and proximity to the sea a perfect combination with the heady night life and glamour of nearby St Tropez. The accomodation is luxurious and chic but not so precious as to alienate children. The Hamman has been a fabulous addition especially in the cooler months as is the heating to the pool. The pool has a shallow end ideal for young children but is big enough to swim laps and play ball games.Unfortunately due to the house being set into the hillside there are lots of steps making this house very difficult for those with restricted mobility and wheelchair users. The master bedroom has french doors opening to its own small private terrace with 2 sunbeds and a small breakfast table(or a private glass of wine a deux) overlooking the sea and Gulf of St Tropez. The property has south facing terraces and gardens with well stocked flowers ,shrubs and trees down the hillside. There is a garage and guardians keeper house outside the house compound but within the gated walls of the villa. It has a heated infinity swimming pool with great sea views and a Moroccan style hamam. Very large terraces on three levels provide lots of seating and sunbathing areas. wooden sunbeds are provided with mattresses and large canvas sunshade umbrellas on stands. There is a very large teak dining table with 12 chairsoutside but also additional tables and chairs strategically making this a great house for parties or just hiding away with a book. The barbecue area is purpose built with washing facilities and food preparation area. Absolutely magical when lit with candles. This Mediterranean seaside town is located 5km north of St Tropez, across the Gulf of St Tropez. The town is well situated, with white sandy beaches and clear turquoise sea 10 minutes walk from the villa. St Tropez can be accessed with a ferry service to avoid August traffic. Sailing jet skiing and water skiing facilities are all available at the nearest local beach very close to the villa. There are good reasonably priced restaurants and shops in Issambres and Ste Maxime. This villa is great if you are looking for relaxation on beautiful beaches with the exciting proximity of extremely good nightlife. There are good provencal restaurants for every budget and glamorous bars and people watching if thats what you want too.The olive oil mills and the botanical gardens prove to be very popular and driving inland will take you to charming old fashioned quintessentially French villages away from the razzamataz. There are tennis courts, water sports, water parks, horse riding and fishing that are all nearby. There are very few places that have it all but this house is one of the rare opportunities to sample the good life.
