Everything about this immaculate two-story renovated 1912 house from the spotless white, red and black chefs ' dream kitchen to the light-washed, garden-themed upstairs master bedroom with its distant water views, tells you that you have relinquished the cares of everyday life for an escape into relaxation, rejuvenation and fun. If a house could have a disposition, this ones ' would be sunny. This is not the generic atmosphere of a motel or hotel, this is a home filled with personality and warmth. Sea otter memorabilia displayed throughout reflects the owner 's passion for these enchanting creatures, which can be seen frolicking off the nearby shoreline. Among its special features are a two-person hot tub (complete with spa robes) situated in a private patio, a hammock, an upstairs enclosed balcony for star gazing, a wood-burning fireplace in the living room and much more. nThe master suite has a queen bed. a small sitting area with white wicker furniture and distant ocean views. Additional sleeping space is provided by a pullout sofa in an adjacent office with pocket doors for privacy. This space is perfect for smaller children. There is a bathroom with tub/shower located off the master suite. n nThe main floor features a large living room with a wood-burning fireplace, a large comfortable sofa and love seat and TV. Description:This quiet family-owned home is located in Seaside California. It is available for rent throughout the year to families and groups who are coming to visit the Monterey Peninsula to relax and enjoy the many features in our area. Located on the peninsula is Fisherman's Wharf with shops and famous restaurants. Along the water front there are bicycle and kayak rentals available along with scuba diving. Cannery Row has more shops and restaurants and the famous Monterey Bay Aquarium. There is the 17-mile drive with many famous golf courses and events. Just a 15 minute drive away is Carmel-By-The-Sea where you can take a stroll along the streets with many shops, specialty bakeries, and restaurants. If wanting to get into nature, a nice drive to Big Sur with hiking and great eating places is about a 30 -45 minutes down the coast! For family outings with kids we have lake El Estero. There are paddle boats available, Dennis-the–Menace Park, a skateboard park, and plenty of picnic areas. In the area is The Wild Things, where you can see wild and exotic animals. In Seaside we also feature the famous Mal’s Market located right around the corner from the home known for its delicious and most affordable sandwiches, especially the world famous Bomber and Philly Cheese Steak along with their fabulous breakfast sandwiches. A short walk in the other direction will bring you to the heart of Carmel Village with restaraunts, galeries and shops. From Memorial Day to Labor Day there is a free trolly which replicates the San Francisco cable cars with a stop near by. You will enjoy the comfort of a private room and bath on the lower level of this charming two story home. The neighborhood is mostly second home owners and there are virtually no other rentals for blocks, allowing a quiet, serene and extremely tranquil stay..plenty of parking on the street and three parking spaces on property...Entry is at mid level, so only half a flight of stairs is necessary to bring you home. For the golf enthusiasts, the famed Pebble Beach Golf Links is just around the corner. Ralph Lauren linens on the memory foam queen futon sofa allow you to fold up the bed and convert it to a sofa for more space during the day. Nice thick towels and soap, shampoo and conditioner are supplied. Breakfast, $10 per person, and lunch and dinner, $15 per person, allows one to eat organic meals in their private room!
