We gave up $800 we paid for a rental down the street that was a dump. It.s called Casa Palmar. This is a five star stay! Pool is amazing. Perfect rental n nGreat option 2 blocks from the beach w/ excellent pool, clean! n nWe stayed here for a few nights with our kids. Very well kept, professionally managed, great pool (adulst and kids), clean, comfortable, very close & convenient to beach, downtown. Great light with big open doors with patio overlooking pool. Manager at complex makes everything easy. n nPerfect Vacation Home away from Home n nIf you are looking for an easy, low key, comfortable home away from home in Sayulita with all the amenities, Almendros is the place for you. The apartment is comfortable and all the fixtures are new and updated. The staff is welcoming and accommodated all of our questions about things to do, places to go and people to see. From surf lessons, to restaurants and interesting local activities, everything is just footsteps away. I look forward to returning soon. n nLuxury Villa in a Charming Town n nWe really enjoyed our stay at Almendros. The unit is part of a traditional yet modern villa which offers a tranquil setting and is less than a 5 minute walk to the beach. nThe full kitchen is modern with a stainless steel appliances and the bathrooms are beautiful with decorative tile and traditional Mexican decor. nOur dining room was part of the open concept living adjacent to the kitchen and living space. We loved the fact we could open the area to the outside with large sliding glass doors to the balcony. The balcony overlooks a spectacular pool and some distant palms. nSince we went just before high season we basically had the whole pool to ourselves and it was very peaceful and relaxing. n nWonderful nThe place is beautiful and the town is great. Bring plenty of paseos, sunscreen, bug spray and your own beach towels. I definitely recommend stopping at the Mega Store in P.V. and stocking up on items. Not very many places take credi cards and sometimes the credit card machines aren 't in operation. One of the best vacations are family has ever taken, lots to do for all. n nLuxurious Comfort and Security in a Beautiful Part of Mexico! nAlmendros is new construction, so everything is Grade A and in working condition! The apartment is tastefully appointed, very comfortable, light and airy, has a comfortably furnished, big balcony overlooking the swimming pool. Has a full kitchen and washer & drier. It is a SHORT, PLEASANT walk to ther main beach area and center of Sayulita. Office staff speak English and are helpful and accommodating, (appreciate courtesy, of course). The property is walled and has security guards 24/7. n nMORE ABOUT SAYULITA: This was my first trip to Sayulita, though I have traveled A LOT in Mexico and Latin America over the past 35 years. I LOVE the coast of Nayarit. It offers small villages, beautiful TROPICAL BEACHES, intact indigenous culture, friendly locals,WARM OCEAN, surfing, and much more! To my knowledge there is little or no crime--definitely no drug cartels operating. I am in love with Sayulita. It is (in my opinion) the perfect blend of the BEST of Mexico and US/Canadian culture. Genuine Mexican culture still dominates, with improvements added by North Americans, such as gourmet restaurants, CLEAN beaches and streets, surf culture, eclectic shopping, recycling, trash pick up. (Other parts of the Nayarit coast are horrendously littered!) One feels very safe walking around in Sayulita, day or night. nSayulita 's proximity to Puerto Vallarta makes it easy to fly into the area, and to find supermarkets/Costco/Home Depot, if you need those kinds of supplies. In Sayulita, there are LOTS of little tiendas (small local markets for food and sundries) and very good restaurants. One does not need a car in Sayulita, but there is parking at Los Almendros. Our home is located in the tranquil Pazcuarto beach area,1.2 miles from the town center. A vacation at Villa Bali offers the best of all worlds. You are able to enjoy the the town of Sayulita with its great restaurants and beach life, and yet escape the noise and be secluded in our quiet jungle environment. n nThese homes were imported from Java, Indonesia and then painstakingly rebuilt in Villa Bali, a small community of 6 home sites. My husband and I were the developers, and this home is the one we chose to keep for ourselves. n nBoth of our homes are unique and tastefully furnished. They may be rented separately or together. The main house named Bali has two full bedrooms with queen beds (both air conditioned), 2 full baths, full kitchen, living and dining areas, with a large outdoor covered patio with bbq, and fire pit. The living room has a large Balinese wooden bench with a foam mat, sufficient for one other to sleep on. The smaller guest house named Madura, offers one queen bed and one twin, dining table, mini kitchen with small refrigerator, hotplate, micro., and coffee maker. It has a small porch nestled in the trees, perfect for early bird watching. n nWe include maid service every other day, and have a property manager available to help you. If you would like to have a personal chef, or additional cleaning services, it may be arranged for additional costs. A short walk from Villa Bali takes you to a semi private sandy beach, or you may chose to people watch at the Sayulita beach, watching champion surfers as well, as being served ice cold drinks under an umbrella.
