See RATES. LA CASITA is a completely furnished studio in the exquisitely beautiful private inner courtyard of Villa Chuparosa.. The bedroom area has a double bed & excellent storage & is next to the big really pretty bathroom. The kitchenette has top quality small appliances as listed under amenities. Each new reservation gets new kitchen cleaning supplies & the bathroom steam cleaned. The reading area has a unique raised coffee table on casters for cards or computer.. A 2nd built-in table with 2 stools doubles the work space. Just outside is a table with umbrella next to the pool & with a close view of the hummingbird feeder & the platform feeder in the Jungle Garden. n n The unusual call early each A.M. of the Yellow Winged Cacique, found only in this part of Mexico, announces a breakfast of bananas - a favorite of orioles (4 species) & butterflies as well, Early each AM, with seed for many exotic song birds, Jerry is filling feeding stations when in residence Nov - May. The bi-lingual caretaker/handyman is here during the summer months to take care of guests, pool, & grounds.. n n VILLA CHUPAROSA is high on a hill in a quiet residential area. Our villa compound is surrounded by high walls with huge bougainvilleas that add to its beauty & privacy. The inner courtyard has a large pool, 'Jungle Garden ', butterfly garden, and a 2nd storey palapa with stunning views of the entire bay with its islands, reefs, cliffs & the open Pacific, views our guests say are breath-taking. The 'palapa ' is used to dine, read, nap, games, email, & sun in its beautiful environment. n n It is such a pleasure to share our very beautiful, private villa. VILLA CHUPAROSA (hummingbird) has just two rentals,(1) the deluxe beautifully built studio LA CASITA is for two persons and (2) a very spacious, uniquely beautiful TWO bedroom CASA MARIPOSA (butterfly) for up to 5 persons, both under Flipkey 's La Penita rentals. n n LA PENITA de JALTEMBA is an authentic Mexican town N of Puerto Vallarta, and separated from Rincon de Guayabitos by a narrow stream. Jaltemba Bay has a series of beautiful beaches. NOTE: It is SAFE to walk in this bustling picturesque town day OR night! No guest has ever been accosted verbally or physically. After taking several month long trips exploring this coastal area.... n n WE CHOSE LA PENITA because of its many resources, the residential hillsides with glorious views & the friendliness of the Mexicans who live here. It has the only bank for miles, ATM, huge produce stores, a great variety of shops and services, and is known for its Thursday AM huge open market that takes in surrounding streets, with tables & sidewalks offering everything from bakery & flan, to ceramics & crafts, hand loomed rugs, a huge produce stand of course, & beautiful artisan jewelry.. n n The FRESHLY CAUGHT FISH down by the beach are unbelievably inexpensive. Pick out your favorite & they clean & fillet for a few pesos. We have a well stocked MINI-SUPER just around the corner and huge produce stores on La Avenida which starts 7 blocks from our villa. A LAUNDRY is 6 blocks away & Jerry can drop off your laundry. n n AN EXCELLENT FAMILY DOCTOR, bi-lingual, is 3 blocks from our villa. There is a small hospital in Las Varas (20 minutes away) and a larger one in San Poncho. Puerto Vallarta has 4 hospitals, one of which they claim is a state of the art. n n AN ABSENCE OF PESKY FLYING INSECTS allows you to enjoy living outside with just the rustling of palm trees and a constant ocean breeze. YOU WON 'T NEED A/C with afternoons that seldom get to 80F (27C). Nights seldom drop below 62F (17C). n n There is NO SMOKING ON THE PREMISES of this Eco-friendly villa compound. n n WHAT COMES AFTER THE DEPOSIT? We send 'PRE-ARRIVAL INFO and BEST DIVERSIONS & EXCURSIONS comes in December, both invaluable for a delightfully exciting, fulfilling holiday. Description:Stunning 4th floor condo above the surf of Los Muertos Beach in the heart of the Romanitc Zone, Old-Town Puerto Vallarta. If you are looking for a beautifully decorated, centrally located, private and secure get-away, this is it. The condo complex is managed so that the staff is there to take care of your needs. On a personal note, when I was looking at real estate and walked through the carved front door with my realtor in 1999 and saw the view, the beach, the surf, the clouds, the birds, the palapas, it took my breath away. Description:The studio condo is located on the ground floor of the Casa Corazon Hotel and B&B building at Amapas 326. Location, location, location!! Walking along the beach, we are about 1/4 mile south of the municipal pier in the Zona Romantica section of Old Town Vallarta. Entry is from Amapas into the office which is on floor 8 and then down the elevator to the 4th floor. Floor 4 is the ground floor and is designated as such since it is 4 floors above sea level. A wide pathway to the beach (wheelchair accessible) is totally contained in the Casa Corazon grounds. The path ends at a gate at the Malecon requiring one step down from the curb and one step back up on the other side. Pass through Ritmos Cafe to their palapas. When you want a change in ambiance and scenery, walk to the right toward the municipal pier. We are within easy walking distance to many of the restaurants and clubs you may be familiar with or have read about. These include Archie 's Wok, Daiquiri Dick 's, Cafe Roma, Cafe de Olla, El Dorado, Andale 's, La Palapa, The River Cafe, Blue Shrimp, Joe Jack 's Fish Shack, Sea Monkey, Ritmo 's, Coco 's Kitchen, Harry 's Bar, Dog House, Mariscos Polo, Freddy 's Tucan, Hacienda Alemana, Que Pasa, La Piazzetta, Langostino 's, Kaiser Maximillian, El Torito, Cafe Bohemio, Nacho Daddy, Fajita Republic, A Taste of Italy, in no particular order and many, many more. In front of A Taste of Italy is a small park on the far side of which you can catch a bus for local destinations. Pay your 7 pesos when you get on and tell the driver where you want to get off. As we said, Location, location, location!! For us it is a 2 minute walk down to the beach, including pauses to admire Pancho the gardener 's handiwork. New pool now operational, no tile yet on the concrete surrounding it! The grounds have gated security and a night watchman on duty. The door has an extra deadbolt, chain lock and peephole. The sliding glass doors have dowel rods to insert at floor level for additional security. We have never had a security problem. Our condo has a queen size bed, kitchen with 2 burner stovetop and convection oven as well as all appliances and dishware. We just added an electric fry pan for use indoors or out. A/C, wi-fi, flat screen tv with cable, dvd and alarm clock are included. The back yard area is for the private use of this unit.Brick pavers have been installed making for a great backyard feel. The gas BBQ is next to the long bar area for mixing drinks and entertaining after a tough day at the beach. Grill up some nice steaks and perhaps invite the folks you met today at the beach. This is your private area.The large palapa provides great afternoon shade after a tough day on the beach. Choose to cook outdoors as well. Several local stores for quick shopping. For longer stays and bigger shopping trips, Sam 's, Walmart, Costco and equivalent Mexican chains are an easy and inexpensive cab ride away. This is a self-catering place to stay. It is perfect for people who like to take care of themselves. If you require white glove service and someone following you to the beach in case you drop your towel, this is not your place. At the completion of each rental we will send you a certificate redeemable for a companion airfare ticket as our way of saying Thanks. Have FUN! Maid service is provided once per week, normally 3 or 4 days after arrival for a 7 night stay. One set of beach towels are provided and they will be exchanged when the maid comes. If you feel you need more towels, please bring them with you. There are no laundry facilities onsite but there are many places to drop clothes and towels for washing, drying and folding at a very reasonable price. Additionally, you can arrange with our property manager for more frequent maid service at extra cost. Mention it to you representative when you are met upon arrival or email them if you need extra service. n nAll guests are met by the staff of PVR Vacations, our property managers. They will assist you throughout your stay and all speak English. 50% of the rental fee in US Funds is required within five days of the reservation confirmation. Final payment is due 30 days prior to arrival date. If your arrival date is less than 30 days full payment is due within five business days of confirmed reservation. We accept PayPal and wire transfers. Reservations must be cancelled 60 days prior to arrival for an 80% refund and the other 20% is an administrative processing fee. Reservations must be cancelled within 60 days of arrival or you will forfeit full rental charges. There will be no refunds due to acts of nature, religion or weather situations, mechanical failure, earthquake, golf conditions, etc. Trip insurance is strongly recommended. n nCancellation for hurricane, earthquake or any natural disaster or any other non controllable situations such as but not limited to construction in the area, unusual noise or other disturbances are non refundable. Please purchase trip insurance. n n
