Our facility is family owned and operated, we can be fully available to meet all your needs during your stay!In the 1500’s San Cristoforo was the parish church for the Pian di Marte valley. On this same site at the beginning of the 18th century a new church was built along with the rectory. Over the years the other buildings that make up the complex were added: the country house, the drying shed for tobacco and other farm buildings. The country house and the tobacco building have been transformed into guest housing, with the classic farmhouse external staircase giving access to the two upper floors where there are 10 rooms, each with a private bathroom. The animal stalls and storage from the original ground floor barn are now a large common living room with an country fireplace that consists of 3 century old stonework, a small anteroom and a dining room. Additional farm buildings have been modernized to create guest rooms, each one with independent entries, and two of them are equipped to accommodate handicapped guests. All the annex rooms have direct and independent outside access, so we can easily welcome guests with animals.

The environment is easy, relaxing and beautiful beyond descriptionThere are self-catering facilities in each apartment but the nearby charming small town of Loro Ciuffenna has excellent restaurants and coffee bars.Maximum occupancy is 21 person in 5 apartments with a total of 11 bedrooms and 11 bathrooms.We have now joined forces with a local organisation which cares for partially disabled young people, mainly affected by Down's Syndrome, in a venture which will enable these young people to help in the daily work of the Molino. This will give them the opportunity to experience not only the the rural activities of a small estate, but also of helping to look after guests in the apartments. Activities will be jointly planned and supervised, and all rental income from the guests will be wholly used to support and further the work of the association.
