Directly across the harbour from the CBD (1 train stop, 5 min ferry ride or walk across the bridge 20 mins), this is the perfect location, less than 2km from the CBD, but in a whisper quiet area, 2 doors up from the Prime Minister's Sydney abode - Kirribilli House (police patrol the street nightly). Milsons Point train station is 810 metres up the lively main street filled with cafes and restaurants, the ferry is 256m from the door with direct rides to Circular Quay/Opera House. There is also a 50m pool directly under the bridge, monthly markets, great deli and butcher and all the ammenities you need on the main street (500m). The Apartment is 6 steps up from entry level., The apartment does NOT face the water. Instead, it is STREET FACING with a leafy view receiving direct sunlight. Renovated in 2003 and updated in 2011, it has everything one needs during a stay, including 1 bedroom with balinese carved wardrobe doors Bathroom with shower/bath Full kitchen with eating nook/dishwasher Windows on 3 sides, no common walls A front lawn with point blank harbour views (eat your breakfast on the lawn, I do!) Description:Stay in our 1 bedroomed modern apartment, just 1 street back from the beach and 20 minutes stroll along the beach to the heart of Manly. Our air conditioned apartment comes with an undercover secure car park with lift access. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the gadgets you can think of for cooking up a great dinner and includes a microwave, cooker, dishwasher, coffee machine and we have a 4 burner bbq outside on our balcony. Or if you prefer to eat out there are some great restaurants around the corner, or head into Manly centre 20 mins walk away. There are fresh towels for you, a laundry room, wi-fi internet access or if you like you can use my mac computer. There is a queen sized bed in the bedroom and we have a pull out sofa bed in the lounge for an extra person. We've got a few board games you are welcome to play with and a Playstation 3, but you'll probably be too busy enjoying the beach. The best thing about our place has to be the location around the corner is the beach with great surfing, a saltwater pool for doing laps and a section to swim between the flags patrolled by lifeguards. There is a lagoon with a playground and BBQ facilites around the other corner and a great supermarket 5 mins walk away. We're also linked by several bus routes.
