We were at a conference at Novotel Brighton Beach and this is just a very quick walk away and a much nicer place to stay. Good off road parking and barbecue all add to a great stay. Description:Rooms with high speed wireless available in a defunc nursing home in historic annandale village, only 3.5km (10min) from Sydney CBD. I know it doesn't sound like a barrel of laughs, until I tell you that it is abandoned. Not literally abandoned (it's been looked after) but apart from the new furniture, not much has changed, there's still some old style hospital beds lying around in the common areas. DO NOT race them because you'll get hurt, the irony being you're in a nursing home where they can cater for that type of incident but all the staff have long since buggered off to new pastures. Aside from a great location, cheap price and having people do a double take up when you start describing where u've been staying Here is our Top 5 reasons for staying in a nursing home: 1. A chance for early retirement ? I'll take it 2. You'll be an expert, when it finally comes to pick your own nursing home and won't have to leave it to your kids. 3. Big enough to make a horror film whilst staying there, or if you're into history, invite a couple of old people off the street and reenact the good old days 4. Be able to swap stories with your grandparents and compare the level of nursing care across the ocean. 5.
