Description:Fully furnished 1 bedroom apartment with a nice terrace located in Kensington, just 2 minutes walk from beautiful Centennial Park and 15 minute walk to University of New South Wales. Plenty of buses to everywhere. It is a 15 min bus ride to the Beach and 15 min bus ride to Sydney CBD. The apartment is located on the first floor. The price is really excellent because we will be away on a trip. Description:Lovely spacious and bright one bedroom apartment with city and district views, pool and gym facilities. Minutes walk to the Entertainment Quarter, the Horden Pavilion and the Belvoir Street Theatre. Bus stops across the road take you directly to Circular Quay via the city centre and can drop you very close to the Metro, the Capital Theatre and the State Theatre. The apartment is located on busy Bourke Street, which runs directly to the airport in one direction (10 minute drive) and through to Woolloomooloo, the Botanical Gardens, the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge in the other direction. The other main roads around my place take you directly to Bondi Beach, Darlinghurst and Kings Cross, or, directly out through the western suburbs to the beautiful Blue Mountains. Danks Street is directly opposite and boasts a variety of art galleries, including Indigenous artworks as well as many speciality shops for unique souvenirs or just hours of window shopping. Directly downstairs is a Coles supermarket for your daily needs and we're surrounded by many cafes and eateries offering everything from pizza and kebab to sushi and stir fry. Parking can be arranged for an extra $2.50 per night.

Description:Hello! We have short term accommodation available in our lovely detached house, with large garden, in Sydney’s Inner West. There is the possibility of 3 bedrooms being available. We can offer bed and breakfast for up to 5/6 people. There is a double bedroom, a queen bedroom and a single bedroom with plenty room to take another single bed. We provide all bed linen, towels and breakfast (cereal/muesli, fresh fruit, toast, fruit juice and tea/coffee). Please let me know your preferences and any dietary issues. Other meals can be arranged at an additional cost. The house has WiFi internet access. The bathroom has a large bath with separate shower and toilet. Everything is in good working order with constant hot water. There is a separate laundry with another toilet & shower. There is also a washing machine and line on which to dry clothes in Sydney, clothes dry on the line in no time! Our house is a renovated traditional Californian bungalow with polished floorboards, lots of light & a large garden. We are very close to public transport and it takes only 20 min by train to Town Hall station right in the CBD. There are great restaurants and cafes in the Inner West (Marrickville, Leichhardt, Petersham, Newtown) and all are close by. NSW Transport information phone number 131500 or City Rail website. MyMulti 3 (costs $60AUD) will get you a full week worth of travel taking you to destinations as far as The Blue Mountains and south as far as Kiama, this is great value! There are also localised services called MyMulti1 & MyMulti2 which are priced accordingly. Getting from the airport... Transport to and from the airport via train airport gate pass $19 OR gate pass $12.00 (one way) Please feel welcome to forward any questions you may have about the rooms or the surrounding area. Easy access (train or bus) into the city gives easy access to all that Sydney offers Opera House, Harbour Bridge (Climb or Walk), Centrepoint Tower, ferry to Manly or Taronga Zoo (fabulous Sydney skyline views), beaches, & Sydney’s many galleries & museums. The Rocks area is an older part of Sydney with historic interest and also has a fabulous market, great stop for souvenirs. We are across the road from the golf course which accepts casual players. The neighbourhood is residential but we are very near trains and buses. We are across the road from a golf course and a river with access to good walking & cycling paths. We are both well travelled, interested in others and enjoy meeting people. This is a very good base for exploring Sydney & surrounds, or for visiting family. Smoking inside the house is not allowed but there is also a beautiful, large garden at the back. Also, please consult us before bringing additional friends to the house. We know Sydney well and can, if you like, help you plan and enjoy your visit. How does that sound? There is one downside we cannot get TV reception in this home, so if you are addicted to the TV, please don't book, however, we do have a large selection of DVDs which you can watch in the family room or on your laptop in the comfort of your room. Our B&B is a French Provincial inspired traditional terrace on three and a half levels situated just south of Hyde Park and in walking distance of Central Railway Station. The home is an eclectic mix of old and new, modern and antique, light and shade. We offer a large and luxurious bathroom with separate shower recess, an open and airy kitchen where you are free to make tea and coffee from a range of teas including organic a lovely courtyard to relax in, and the most peaceful and calm oasis close to the CBD that you could wish for. We are close to Hyde Park, Centre Point Tower, the Opera House, the Harbour Bridge, Darling Harbour, Chinatown, all theatres, museums, art galleries, St Mary's Cathedral, Fox Studios, Sydney Cricket Ground, swimming pools and the Domain. There is an abundance of cafes, restaurants and coffee shops, and you can shop till you drop in the City, Darling Harbour, The Rocks and famous Oxford Street. Just a two minute walk from the front door you will find a stop for the 555 Bus. This CBD shuttle will get you around the City for shopping, business or to connect with other transport. It's frequent and it's FREE and operates every 10 minutes in both directions between 10 am and 3.30pm on weekdays (until 9pm on Thursday nights) and between 10 am and 6pm on weekends. We have many repeat guests who remark on the comfort and convenience they experience whilst staying here. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, and it is very well located, on a nice quiet street with easy access to CBD. We walked everywhere, and there are nice cafes and restaurants nearby. The host, Leonie was wonderful and very helpful. There is wi fi internet that works very well. We stayed in various hotels in Sydney as well, but this was by far the nicest, because it was like staying in someone's home. You will not regret booking here! A and K, NYC Leonie is one of a kind.
