Description:Welcome! This apartment will suit a short term eco conscious traveller and visitor to Sydney. The room is fitted with a double bed, in build wardrobe, writing desk, and shelves. I live in a modern 2 bedroom apartment in Redfern, complete with a full equipped gym (5 minute walk to Central Station (city centre), Redfern station, close to shopping centre, pubs, restaurants, amenities). Ideally this would suit an easy going, down to earth, eco friendly, vegetarian friendly traveller(s). Non smoker and mature traveller(s) who are sensible and clean up after themselves. I look forward to meeting interesting people on their journeys through Sydney. If you are booking with me, please write more about yourself, the reason you're visiting Sydney and add a picture of yourself too. I'd like to know who I'm sharing my space with. :) House rules: 1. Enjoy and always bring a smile during your stay! 2. Try to live more sustainably this means no plastic bags in the house. I can provide green bags. 3. It would be nice if you could reduce or avoid eating meat if possible. Not strict with it, but I think its healthy having a vegetarian diet at home. 4. No dryer only hand dry clothes. 5. Buy fresh where possible, and not tinned or packaged. 6. Food scraps is recycled in my worm farm and compost bin in my building. 7. Don't expect brand new furnishings and top designer household items. 8. At times, the extra couch is also leased out short term, so bear that in mind. 9. Expect fruit flies during summer it is beyond my control..

Accomodation is a garden suite with a private entrance off leafy courtyard into a sunroom with TV, bar fridge, microwave oven. r nMain bedroom has queen size bed and a bathroom ajoining. r n r nA ferry leaves Manly every 30mins taking you to the CBD of Sydney Passing the famous Opera House and The Harbour Bridge. r nBeautiful walks are a feature of Manly and of course great surfing conditions. r nThere are many golf courses in the area. r nManly also has many resturants open from 7am till midnight or later, so breakfast overlooking the beach after a swim is a very popular passtime.

Description:Rooms with high speed wireless available in a defunc nursing home in historic annandale village, only 3.5km (10min) from Sydney CBD. I know it doesn't sound like a barrel of laughs, until I tell you that it is abandoned. Not literally abandoned (it's been looked after) but apart from the new furniture, not much has changed, there's still some old style hospital beds lying around in the common areas. DO NOT race them because you'll get hurt, the irony being you're in a nursing home where they can cater for that type of incident but all the staff have long since buggered off to new pastures. Aside from a great location, cheap price and having people do a double take up when you start describing where u've been staying Here is our Top 5 reasons for staying in a nursing home: 1. A chance for early retirement ? I'll take it 2. You'll be an expert, when it finally comes to pick your own nursing home and won't have to leave it to your kids. 3. Big enough to make a horror film whilst staying there, or if you're into history, invite a couple of old people off the street and reenact the good old days 4. Be able to swap stories with your grandparents and compare the level of nursing care across the ocean. 5. Description:Hi there. My name is Scott and I have a self contained motel style cabin available, which sleeps up to 4 persons. We are situated just outside of Adelaide, so the location is well situated for events such as The Festival of Arts, The Fringe Festival, Womad, and the V8 Supercar Races (7 mins. by bus, and 12 -15 mins by foot) The property is 2 streets from the River Torrens, and River Park,which makes for a most enjoyable walk into the city, along the river. The accomodation is probably best suited to a family, a couple, or a single person with double innerspring sofa bed (very comfortable), and 2 single beds in the loft area. 4 adults could however be accomodated easily. It contains a kitchenette, with microwave, fridge, toaster, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, Also included are a 32 flat screen with digital TV, a DVD player for movies and music, a stereo system, and reverse cycle airconditioning for comfortable relaxation. Internet access is also available. You will also have acces to the outdoor kitchen, with hot and cold sink, 4 burner hooded BBQ, and outdoor pergola covered table and chairs. Description:Hello! We have short term accommodation available in our lovely detached house, with large garden, in Sydney’s Inner West. There is the possibility of 3 bedrooms being available. We can offer bed and breakfast for up to 5/6 people. There is a double bedroom, a queen bedroom and a single bedroom with plenty room to take another single bed. We provide all bed linen, towels and breakfast (cereal/muesli, fresh fruit, toast, fruit juice and tea/coffee). Please let me know your preferences and any dietary issues. Other meals can be arranged at an additional cost. The house has WiFi internet access. The bathroom has a large bath with separate shower and toilet. Everything is in good working order with constant hot water. There is a separate laundry with another toilet & shower. There is also a washing machine and line on which to dry clothes in Sydney, clothes dry on the line in no time! Our house is a renovated traditional Californian bungalow with polished floorboards, lots of light & a large garden. We are very close to public transport and it takes only 20 min by train to Town Hall station right in the CBD. There are great restaurants and cafes in the Inner West (Marrickville, Leichhardt, Petersham, Newtown) and all are close by. NSW Transport information phone number 131500 or City Rail website. MyMulti 3 (costs $60AUD) will get you a full week worth of travel taking you to destinations as far as The Blue Mountains and south as far as Kiama, this is great value! There are also localised services called MyMulti1 & MyMulti2 which are priced accordingly. Getting from the airport... Easy access (train or bus) into the city gives easy access to all that Sydney offers Opera House, Harbour Bridge (Climb or Walk), Centrepoint Tower, ferry to Manly or Taronga Zoo (fabulous Sydney skyline views), beaches, & Sydney’s many galleries & museums. The Rocks area is an older part of Sydney with historic interest and also has a fabulous market, great stop for souvenirs. We are across the road from the golf course which accepts casual players. The neighbourhood is residential but we are very near trains and buses. We are across the road from a golf course and a river with access to good walking & cycling paths. We are both well travelled, interested in others and enjoy meeting people. This is a very good base for exploring Sydney & surrounds, or for visiting family. Smoking inside the house is not allowed but there is also a beautiful, large garden at the back. Also, please consult us before bringing additional friends to the house. We know Sydney well and can, if you like, help you plan and enjoy your visit.
