One, known as Kots House, is a 2-story, 4-bedroom, 2-bath home built in the late 1800's and recently fully remodeled. It will sleep 9 people. The other, known as Kots Studio, is smaller, also 2-story, 2-bedroom, 2-bath, and will sleep 4 people. Each has its own private yard.The larger Kots House (4 bedrooms) features 1 California King bed upstairs, 1 regular King bed downstairs, 1 Queen bed upstairs, 1 Double bunk bed downstairs (the bottom bunk bed is a double bed with a single bed on top).It has a large, pleasant family kitchen, fully equipped with many extras. The Gathering Table seats 8 and there is counter seating for 2 adults or 3 children. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, silverware, glasses, coffee pot, teapot and many other useful items not usually provided in rentals. There is also a washer and dryer in the house.There is cable TV in the kitchen as well as the living room, and plenty of movies on DVD to watch.There is also a movable electric fireplace made by the Amish from oak trees.There is a mural of the Schweitzer Basin in the living room of Kots House that was painted by Russell Kotschevar, a well known local businessman who owned and built a local pub downtown. He also carved 'Pend O'Reille Pete', a larger-than-life-size statue which is displayed at US Bank just a couple of blocks from the property. 'Pete' is pretty famous and travels to various exhibits all over the country.The property has a small, grassy front yard and there are large, beautiful trees lining the street. The back yard is small and completely fenced with an outdoor firepit, a BBQ grill, table & chairs, and a covered, cushioned 3 seat swing.Smoking is permitted on the covered outdoor patio and the yard , but smoking inside the rental houses is not allowed and will result in the loss of deposit.Pets are considered on a case-by-case basis. Additional deposits or rental fees may apply.There is room for 2-3 cars to be parked in the driveway next to the house.Kots Studio is a 2-story, 2-bedroom, 2-bath house with one King bed and one Queen bed upstairs, to sleep 4. The building style is unique and you will not find any comparable holiday homes in the whole of the Messara plain. The indoor living area is 120m2 and the whole property comprises 350m2 on the edge of Pitsidia, in idyllic surroundings, but still within easy reach of the village. The green entrance area, full of roses, decorative shrubs and vines, invites you to enjoy yourself and relax from the first moment you arrive. On the upper level of the house you find the open-plan kitchen and living area with Cretan bench, dining table, open fireplace and Italian designer kitchen completely equipped with: dishwasher, kettle, coffee machine, juicer, electric mixer, iron and much more. The gas oven and hob are made by SMEG, the fridge has a large freezing compartment. From the sleeping area you can reach the partly-roofed terrace, offering breathtaking views across the Messara plain. From your comfortable bed you also have great views of the Ida mountain chain. The bathroom is particularly beautiful with a Minoan bath tub and can also be reached from the sleeping area. Stairs lead down from the kitchen and living area into the lower level of the house where a further bedroom with en-suite toilet and wash basin can be found. The bedroom boasts one bunk bed (child safety equipment available) and a double bed with one double-sized mattress. With large bedrooms, and loft upstairs with books to read, everyone is sure to find a special spot for some privacy and solitude. Downstairs you’ll enjoy a game and entertainment room where children and adults can play games, watch DVD's, or play pool and air hockey, Another TV/DVD/VCR available in the Master Bedroom. We've got Satellite Dish TV and High Speed Wifi internet! We have a phone for emergency use, but get cell phone coverage too. Lake Cascade and the boat launch is literally only about 250 yards from the front door. You’ll enjoy lots of parking space with enough room to park a boat/RV and several cars!In the summer, the lake below is often glassy making perfect conditions for water sports. The fishing is the best around from the boat launch below, so be prepared to catch a fish a minute! Trails for motorcycles, mountain biking, horseback riding, and snowmobiling are literally either out our back door or just up the street. Tamarack ski resort is only 30 minutes away. Brundage ski resort is 1 hour away.

We fell in love of that place! So we created that house to share our idea of the tourism and to meet people. It's also an opportunity to present our other activity: the China Painting. Our working room on spot will present you our creations. Moreover you will find in our rooms most of our pieces. You will be also able to take lessons on the China Painting technics if you are interested in. The country offers many opportunities to visit, starting by the Middle Age city of Carcassonne at 6 miles from our house. Its past if full of history and you will find easily many ruins of the Cathare period in the Corbières mountains close to Verzeille. The Corbieres vineyards are famous and it's an opportunity to visit many cellars in the surroundings and to taste a typical strong wine.
