Description:Welcome to our Cape Coral vacation rental. Alcedonia sits water front on the serene canals of Cape Coral. The home sleeps six with three bedrooms and two full baths.The spacious and airy living/family room has a 46” flat screen TV with cable and a DVD player. Extra guests? No problem. They can relax on the pullout queen size sofa bed. The family room opens to the patio where you can enjoy swimming in our heated pool or cook on the gas grill and dine in the comfortable, screened in lanai.The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, dishes, silverware, coffee pot, toaster, and all the utensils you will need. The dining room, which is adjacent to the kitchen, has seating for 6.The master bedroom boasts a private bath and a king size bed. The second bedroom has a queen size bed. The third bedroom has a double bed. All bedrooms have 32” LCD tv’s with built in DVD players and cable television. Free WI-FI Internet access is available throughout the home.The backyard has a private dock if you care to rent a boat during your stay. In the garage you will find bicycles and we plan to add more amenities in the near future. Please enjoy your stay with us and we look forward to having you visit and making Alcedonia your home away from home.If you are not up to venturing out and about, there is much to do right here at your vacation home, such as biking, fishing off the private dock, swimming in our heated, covered pool, cooking on the gas grill and dining al fresco on the covered lanai. Should you find yourself in the midst of Florida’s famous fleeting rain storms, we are continually adding board games to pass the time. If you do decide to venture out, so much awaits you in beautiful Southwest Florida.Some casual Cape Coral eateries we recommend would be First Round Draft, Thirsty’s, Chicago Pizza, Leapin’ Lizard, Paradise Tiki Hut, Monkey Bar, and Iguana Mia. If it’s live entertainment you’re looking for, check out Smokin BillIf you head down toward Fort Myer’s Beach, we recommend the Yucatan Beach Stand, Bonita Bill’s, Doc Fords, Parrot Key Bar and Grill. Should you venture into Naples for a day of shopping and sightseeing, you must dine at Rossopomodoro.Boat Rentals are available on a daily or weekly basis from Paradise Boat Rentals. To feed your cultural side, visit Edison and Ford Winter Estates, SWF Museum of History or spend a day with the kids at Imaginarium or the Fort Myer’s Zoo. If a little fun in the sun, is what you are looking for, head out for a day of golf. Too hot for golf, surely a day of Sanibel and Captiva Islands are but two popular nearby destinations. And they are just a short boat ride away. The Big “M” Casino is a fun way to spend some time on the water if you like a little gambling. Or hop on the Key West Express to spend the day on one of Florida’s beautiful islands.
