Brundage ski resort is 1 hour away.

Now has Dish network which is nice if it rains.Big Chetec is a great lake for recreation and fishing with over 2,000 acres of boatable water to explore. There are multiple places on the lake to rent fishing boats or pontoons so that you can enjoy the sand bar on the lake as well as a couple of islands to explore and potentially camp on. The property has 700ft of wooded lake shore. You will need to cross the road to get to the Big Chetec Lake front but it will be worth it!This is a great place to come any time of year with nearby attractions in Birchwood, Hayward, Spooner, and Rice Lake. The cabin is surrounded by many ATV/Snowmobile trails to enjoy and you will love exploring the wooded lot.If you prefer to stay at home you can enjoy a ping, Foosball, and air hockey in the basement which was finished in 2012. You can also choose to snuggle up with a good book on either of the decks or the gas fireplace in the basement. There is a third bathroom and tub in the basement as well as log futon.This cabin is very secluded and spacious and you will enjoy this great north woods get away!

The ancient vine-cellar was rebuilt in an other bedroom with double-beds and a bed for children. The patatirio became a new bathroom with toilet, washing-machine and shower. By the extension of the roof terrace there is an additional beautiful small place.

Alternatively there is a complimentary ski bus, for those who want to hop on the bus at the end of the day and be dropped off at the front door (after the obligatory apres-ski drink).Having a back garden ideal for sledging, large balconies with stunning views, the chalet is a great venue for relaxing at the end of the day. There is a large communal living / dining area, plus all rooms have an extra sofa or table and chairs, if you want that extra peace and privacy.
