Description:Welcome to Copenhagen, We're a Danish couple with a travel addiction. In order to afford our travels, we rent out our nice Copenhagen (Nørrebro) apartment to other travelers. The apartment is 2 rooms (73 m2/786 sq. ft.) and situated in the hip (but quiet!) area Nørrebro in Copenhagen. The apartment is situated 10-15 minutes by bus (5A) from the city centre (main city square), and the bus stop is situated 100 meters from the front door (leaves every 5-10 minutes). The apartment is light and spacious and has a big 5 m2 balcony with a four part door that can be opened fully. The amenities include: free 10mbit Internet, queen size bed w. 2 separate duvets and pillows, fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, shower (Copenhagen style, over the cistern), 32 inch Sony TV, DVD player, Stereo w. Ipod connector and CD player, laundry room in the basement, French press coffee maker, coffee grinder, oven, microwave, iron and ironing board, Sodastream and linens and towels are of course provided for you during your stay. The apartment offers you the perfect location for your exploration of Copenhagen, as it is situated right in the middle of the main quarters to explore – Østebro, Vesterbro, Frederiksberg and København K. You have 2 supermarkets within 500 meters of the apartment, and further you will many many cosy specialty shops with fresh vegetables and spices. There are many green areas and parks close to the partment such as Nørrebro Parken and the Assistenskirkegården (a beautiful cemetery where e.g. Søren Kierkegaard and H.C. Andersen is buried). In the neighborhood you can also find nice cafés, cocktail bars and night clubs. How to get there from the airport: Take the metro from Kastrup airport to Nørreport metro station (33kr, 15 min). Then bus 5A towards Nørrebro (10 min), get off at Stefanskirken. From there its 1-2 min walk to front door. Taxi from airport costs approx. 260 DKK (48$) and takes 20-25 minutes. The apartment consists of a small kitchen, a dining room, a bedroom/living room, and a bathroom. The apartment has hard wooden floors and comes with furniture (a big bed, dresser, book cases, dining table etc). The kitchen is well equipped (with a large oven, gas stove and a laundry machine), and a very well assorted selection of kitchen-props (from low-tech-tools such as dough-scrapers, juice presser and cheese-cutters to more high-tech tools such as a toaster, waffle machine and a coffee grinder). Description:We live in a nice and spacious 3 storey classic Danish architect-designed house from 1932. It had a complete make over in 2007 and offers all modern facilities including a bathroom with jacuzzi. There are two bathrooms with modern showers. All bathrooms have floor heating which also applies for all rooms on the groundfloor. The kitchen is from 2009 and offers all modern facilities. There is plenty of space for a family of 4 - 5 people and a nice children-friendly garden with trampoline and swings where you can have barbeques in the evening or just enjoy a sunny day. In the house you will find everything you need for a comfortable living. In connection with the children's rooms there is a little loft. There is a cosy patio in connection with the dining area where you can have your breakfast on sunny summer mornings or you can eat your dinner there on cooler summmer evenings. In the garage there a 4 bikes, 2 adult bikes, and 2 children's bikes which you are free to use. We have a wireless internet connection which you can use, cabel TV, DVD, radio with CD player.... The near surroundings have much to offer. Only 30 meters away you'll find a nice little public playground. The town center is in walking distance (1,5 km) and here is a nice pedestrian area with lots of shops and cafées etc. Kolding has a large public swimstadion very children friendly with play area. There is a large public leisure and play parc 4 km from the house which is free of charge. If you like shopping there is a large shopping mall just outside the town and if you like beach life you will find nice east coast beaches 15 minutes away, and 1 hour by car is enough to reach the beautifull sandy beaches of the Westcoast. In nearby Billund (40 km) you will find Legoland and the waterpark Lalandia. The bigger cities Århus and Odense (H.C. Andersen's town) are both reachable within 1 hour by car and Copenhagen can be reached in 2 hours by train or 3 hours by car.

The apartment is on a quiet street and based on the ground floor. It's suitable for groups or families with children. The bedroom has a queen size bed and it’s possible to turn the sofa, in the living room, into a bed. I also have an extra mattress. There is furthermore a small room and two bathrooms. In the opposite direction of the city you will find two pleasant parks, Frederiksberg Have and Søndermarken. Here you are able to have a walk, a run or a nice picnic on the grass with the trees surrounding you. Also, next to Frederiksberg Have you will find the Zoo with the great elephants. Actually, you are able to see the elephants from the park.
