The apartment is situated at the corner of the vivid and blossoming street of Jægersborggade. The street is full of cozy cafe’s and unique shopping opportunities. Delicious caramel’s, world famous coffee, and recently granted michelin star restaurant Relæ, one of the top sushi places in Copenhagen, to name a few, are right at your door and within walking distance you will find Assistens cemetery and Nørrebroparken. Downtown Copenhagen only a short busride away, and only ten minutes with the supplied bikes, which are six. Staying at the apartment includes healthy breakfast and coffee at the lovely cafe lyst wich is located right beneath the flat. Description:We (Sidsel, Michael and 2 kids) live in one of the most wonderful apartments in the Copenhagen borough of Vesterbro, a vibrant neighborhood featuring many cafes, boutiques, excellent restaurants and much more. The apartment is about 1.3 km from the main station, which means you can get anywhere in greater Copenhagen pretty fast. The apartment has 3 bedrooms, 2 of which are children's rooms, but which could be used by adults as well (2 single beds, 1 full size bed, a crib if you need - and there's also the couch and plenty of floor space). We are devout foodies, so our kitchen is well stocked and has the basics you need if you want to prepare meals while staying in Copenhagen. Built in the late 1890s, our fully renovated 3rd floor apartment features very high ceilings and a wonderful view over of one of Copenhagen's most popular places to go for a urban stroll. The streets around the apartment are very low traffic, yet the street itself is very wide, so it is one of the most airy views you can get in the city. Basically, we found our dream apartment in the city. As far as practical details go, we have a washing machine, dishwasher, wireless high speed internet (12 Mbps), cable with a wide variety of channels, a large living room and kitchen-dining room, recently renovated bathroom with towel warmer, etc. - and even a wii for the kids. Although we're new to airbnb, we have a bit of experience with home exchanges, so we're used to making our place comfortable for guests, and we have a whole bunch of tips and insider information to help make your stay in Copenhagen a memorable one. Locality, transport and attractions From this apartment you are in walking distance to all downtown attractions, but if you don't feel like walking, the central station is only 5 min. walk away. There are also buses going downtown 50m away. How to get there from the airport From the airport get by train to the central station (13 min.) and walk (400m) or take a bus (2 stops - 2 min.) How to get there from the city center Walk 10 min. from Rådhuspladsen (where the main shopping street starts) or simply walk from the central station. Vesterport station and Dybbelsbro s-train stations are also nearby. This apartment is EXTREMELY easy to get to and from! The apartment is located only 5 minutes walk from public transportation which can take you anywhere you want to g shopping area (5 min by train), Museum of Louisiana (35 min by train) and the airport (20 min by train). The beautiful citadell and the little mermaid is only 15 min walk away. The apartment is also very close to the port of CPH, so guests porting in CPH from a cruise can be home in 5 minutes!

The apt. is very suitable for children and in one of the bedrooms there is a convertible crib with safety rails as well as lots of toys! The apartment is located in Islands Brygge close to the boardwalk, yet it is less than 3 km. from the city centre and Tivoli. We recommend taking a walk by the waterfront which is only about 100 meters from the apartment and watch the sun set. Or, if you feel inspired by the dubious Danish Viking warriors of yore that we pride ourselves on, you might want to grab a towel and take a dip in the cool water in the morning. Then hurry back home to the apartment for a cup of hot coffee or have one at one of the nearby cafés - it is simply a great way to begin a day of exploring the city! You can also cross the nearby newly built bridge for pedestrians and bicycles and you will find yourself in Vesterbro's Kødbyen - a hub for foodies, art venues and clubs. Rent a bike here and explore the city the Copenhagen way - on two wheels! The nearest metro station is Islands Brygge station ( 1 km. away) which gives easy access to the city's attractions as well as the airport (15 min. by metro from Islands Brygge station). The Metro also connects to the S-train as well as regular trains at Nørreport station. Elevator in building. Washer and dryer as well as dishwasher available. Free Internet, cable and parking. Description:This is a wonderful baby friendly apartment. We have 3 big rooms i.e. quiet bedroom with a door out to the balcony over looking a wonderful garden, a dinning room/baby room, and a huge living room full of atmosphere. The kitchen is also spacious with a washing machine. The balcony is perfect for sunny morning breakfasts. The garden is semi private (shared with the neighbors) there are 2 playgrounds, 2 sunny lawns with picnic tables, and a court for basket ball or soccer. The apartment is on the 2nd floor on a quite street that is close to all forms of public transport, tons of cafes and restaurants, and parks. We have a baby crib, a changing table, and a highchair, you are welcome to use.
