Located 10 minutes from Tivoli with buses leaving every 5 minutes. Convenient supermarkets and recreational parks nearby. Use of washer and/or dryer is also possible. PS. Description:This cosy apartment is situated in Oesterbro, one of the main neighborhoods of central Copenhagen. A 5 min walk to the S train station Svanemoellen, and you will be at Copenhagen central station in 7 minutes (4 stops). Situated right by a great park (Faelledparken) and a 10-15 min walk away from Svanemoellen Marina and a lovely small beach. 100 metres from the main boulevard, Oesterbrogade, where you will find shopping, cafes, restaurants etc. The apartment has a warm and cosy atmosphere and the area is very quiet. It will fit either a couple or two close friends, as the shower cabin is situated in the bedroom - authentic Copenhagen style! I can also provide a foam fold-out mattress for friends who don't want to share the bed. The living room has a dining table, a couch, a nice armchair, a small flat screen tv and a few cabinets. The kitchen is new (January 2011) and has a gas stove, fridge, freezer, micro wave oven and all the necessary amenities. The toilet is a tiny room and you wash your hands in the kitchen - this is quite normal for these older apartments (from 1899) and not a problem for most people, but you should know about it! In the bedroom I have a 1,60 m wide bed, a desk and chair and a wardrobe. Fresh and clean duvets, pillows, bed sheets and towels (all from November 2011) are provided. Free wifi included. Description:OUR APARTMENT: is in a great spot in a trendy but quite area, 5 minutes from down town, two minutes by foot from lots of social life and fun such as cafes, bars, restaurants and cinemas, parks and lakes.. the apartment is nice, open and light. AIRPORT: We are 25 minutes from the airport - 15 minutes on the metro to Nørreport then 5-10 minutes by bus 6A to our place. Or you can walk from Nørreport which is about a nice 15 minute walk along the lakes. CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST: We have breakfast for you, ready to cook in the fridge. Eggs, juice, jams and homemade buns! NICE TO KNOW: The place has all you need for luxury living including dishwasher, freezer, fridge, washing mascines and induction stove. We also have WI-FI and broadband tv. In summer you can BBQ in the common backyard. We have a dobble madrass which can be put in the living room if you are 4 people. THE AREA: Nørrebro is a vibrant area of Copenhagen and our apartment is situated on the boarder between inner city centre and Østerbro (see below). Nørrebro has trendy bars and fashionable designer shops lying next door to dodgy dive bars and cheap kebab places. The people here are cool and casual and so is the neighborhood. Elmegade is full of small designer shops, and in Ravnsborggade antique shops are lined up. Sankt Hans Torv and the streets around it is the place to be for dinner and drinks, and at Assistens Cemetery you can visit the grave of famous Danes or do like the Nørrebro citizens and relax in the park like area. Are you looking for posh Copenhagen, then go to Østerbro 5 minutes away. The district is characterized by expensive houses, broad boulevards and beautiful green areas. Østerbro is located north of Copenhagen city centre. It is one of Copenhagen's most attractive and expensive living areas, which also reflects the range of exclusive designer shops. Østerbro is home to the national stadium: Parken, and right next to it is Denmark’s largest public park: Fælledparken. Fælledparken is used all year round for play and fun, sun bathing, strolls, gatherings, parties, outdoor theatre and concerts.
