Description:Cozy and very 'classic Copenhagen' non-smoker apartment. The apartment has one bedroom and one livingroom and is situated in a very quiet one-way street less than two minutes by foot from cafes and shopping on vibrant Istedgade - the main street in the trendy area Vesterbro (where you also find the Meatpacking District, Kødbyen with its galleries, bars, restaurants and nightlife). Less than five minutes walk from my apartment to supermarkets (both fancy and discount), parks and recreational areas public transport. Parking spaces right on my street - but remember to feed the meter! The apartment sleeps one couple one extra person (two in the queen size bed in the bedroom,1 on a camping bed (mattress) on the floor). LIVINGROOM - In the livingroom you'll find dining area and lounging area w/ sofa my beloved piano - feel free to play! BEDROOM - In the bedroom you'll find a queensized bed, fullsized mirror and the exit to the balcony. The bedroom faces the courtyard, so there's no traffic noise. The balcony window has blackout blinds for catching some Zzzzzzz's. KITCHEN - The kitchen is equipped with new gas stove and (regular) oven, zink, a new microwave, cordless kettle, french press coffee maker, old-skool espresso maker and of course everything you need to cook eat: pots, pans, blender, etc., plates, bowls, cutlery, glasses. BATHROOM - The bathroom is very tiny (the building was put up before you integrated toilets into apartments in Copenhagen) - but it's brand new and clean. The shower curtain ensures that you don't spray down the entire room when taking a bath! BALCONY - One of the apartment's main selling points (if you ask me!) is the huge balcony. I have hosted many bbq's there - and you definitely should too! There's a window from the kitchen onto the balcony - providing easy access when in need of a refill! HALL - The hall is actually too small to call a hall. Around 2-3 square metres. But with room for coats and shoes none the less. All rooms in the apartment opens onto the hall. The apartment is on the first floor, so you only have to walk seven steps with your luggage! - WiFi: Highspeed wireless internet connection in the apartment. - LAUNDRY: Laundromat 50 metres from front door. - A Vesterbro-manual (written by yours truly) listing all the hot spots, shopping options and secret sidestreet hangouts you want to know about! You have the apartment to yourselves and of course get your own set of keys. No smoking allowed indoor - but feel free to use the balcony for that purpose (that's what my own guests do). NOTE: Please bring your own towel! - I provide clean bed linen, tea towels and kitchen cloths hand towels for the bathroom.

Description:- - - THE FLAT. Design, charming and spacious accommodation (110m2), based in the hype Vesterbro quarter (5minutes away by bike from the central station) The flat is on a low first floor, and has windows in all rooms, hardwood floors, and Wi-Fi Internet. The master bedroom has a double bed, and the second room has a kid’s bed. The living room is cosy (TV, DVD player, mp3player) the bathroom is really cosy and the kitchen is fully equipped (fridge, dishwasher, oven, micro-wave, smoothie mixer, Nespresso coffee maker, etc.). If you like to cook, this kitchen is for you ! Last but not least, the building has a beautiful and shared garden with the possibility to eat outside or just relax with a glass of wine after a long day in the city. The flat would probably best suit a couple, or a couple with children however, if you need an extra bed for an adult we have an extra mattress (or a large sofa). Our flat also has high-speed Internet access and Wi-Fi - - - THE QUARTER. Vesterbro, the trendiest quarter with its original cafés and unique shops. A 10 minutes walk from the Central Station (15 min. by train from the airport), within a 15 min. walk from Tivoli amusement park (world’s first amusement park), a 5-10 min. walk from the lakes, very close to the Carlsberg Museum and the Zoo – in short the flat is really close to all facilities. About the neighbourhood, Vesterbro is known for being a vibrant area with lots of trendy bars, new restaurants and original cafes especially in our street (Istedgade). The creative class has flocked to this part of the city (entrepreneurs, advertising people, musicians, clothes designers and artists) because it’s an open and diversified environment with everything from pushers to trendy shoppers. On the food front, creativity continues to bubble: grill bars and pubs now compete with bistros, a fish bar, a couple of Asian eating places and several outstanding gourmet restaurants. For those looking for culture, Vesterbro has its share of theatre stages. In addition to the quarter's alternative, independent cinema, Vester Vov Vov – that sometimes shows Danish films with subtitles – there is also a theatre, Det Ny Teater, with a specialty for extravagant musical shows like Mary Poppins. At the far edge of Vesterbro in the newly-developed Carlsberg Byen is Northern Europe's largest center for contemporary dance, DANSEhallerne. - - - THE CITY. Copenhagen has repeatedly been recognized as one of the cities with the best quality of life. And it is true it is also considered one of the world's most environmentally friendly cities. The water in the inner harbour is clean and safe for swimming. 36% of all citizens commute to work by bicycle. The air is fresh and you really feel the difference with the other capitals. Since the turn of the millennium, Copenhagen has seen a strong urban and cultural development and has been described as a boom town. This is partly due to massive investments in cultural facilities as well as infrastructure and a new wave of successful designers, chefs and architects. Antique sculptures, hot design, classical theatre, glamorous musicals and modern art (do not miss the Louisiana Museum)– Copenhagen embraces the entire cultural palette. Around the city centre, museums and theatres almost jostle for space, so visitors only have to look up to be greeted by Copenhagen’s many cultural attractions. But that’s not all. There’s also the Little Mermaid (compared to other famous tourist attractions, she might be miniscule, but that doesn’t make the young lady any less of an attraction), Tivoli, the fairytale-looking Rosenborg Castle, home of the crown jewels and an abundance of world famous modern architecture. When winter comes, Copenhagen turns into a beautiful and often white wonderland with everything from cosy Christmas markets lining the streets to romantic ice-skating rinks. From the middle of November the center of Copenhagen is illuminated with thousands of lights and candles. The Christmas season officially kicks off when the mayor lights the city’s official Christ¬mas tree in front of City Hall at the end of November. During the Christmas season the city is transformed into a beautiful fairy tale with shops covered in fir branches and tinsel while all the cafés serve Danish doughnuts (called ‘æbleskiver’) and the traditional mulled wine (called ‘glögg’). --- Feel free to ask any question :)
