Transportation to and from the apartment is easy with a direct metro line from the apartment making it easy to get settled. The metro station is just 400meters/yards away and will also take you directly to Strøget (3min with the metro), The Royal Ballet (3min), Nyhavn (3min), Christiania (2min), Rosenborg (5min) and many of the other attractions in Copenhagen. Shopping possibilities are also nearby and plentiful. The apartment is also wheel chair and handicap friendly should that be a requirement (it has extra wide doors and an elevator in the building), making it ideal for everyone. You don't have to worry about noise even though you will be living in Copenhagen, as the aaprtment has noise reducing windows installed, so you will sleep easily and noise free after having explored the Capital Region of Denmark . Description:We (Sidsel, Michael and 2 kids) live in one of the most wonderful apartments in the Copenhagen borough of Vesterbro, a vibrant neighborhood featuring many cafes, boutiques, excellent restaurants and much more. The apartment is about 1.3 km from the main station, which means you can get anywhere in greater Copenhagen pretty fast. The apartment has 3 bedrooms, 2 of which are children's rooms, but which could be used by adults as well (2 single beds, 1 full size bed, a crib if you need - and there's also the couch and plenty of floor space). We are devout foodies, so our kitchen is well stocked and has the basics you need if you want to prepare meals while staying in Copenhagen. Built in the late 1890s, our fully renovated 3rd floor apartment features very high ceilings and a wonderful view over of one of Copenhagen's most popular places to go for a urban stroll. The streets around the apartment are very low traffic, yet the street itself is very wide, so it is one of the most airy views you can get in the city. Basically, we found our dream apartment in the city. As far as practical details go, we have a washing machine, dishwasher, wireless high speed internet (12 Mbps), cable with a wide variety of channels, a large living room and kitchen-dining room, recently renovated bathroom with towel warmer, etc. - and even a wii for the kids. Although we're new to airbnb, we have a bit of experience with home exchanges, so we're used to making our place comfortable for guests, and we have a whole bunch of tips and insider information to help make your stay in Copenhagen a memorable one. Description:I'm renting out my fantastic apt. while travelling. It's located in the most central part of Cph, the trendy Pisserenden (Latin Quarter) full of small cafés, hip shops and trendy restaurants. The apartment has one bedroom, one livingroom, kitchen and a big bathroom. It is approximately 60 square metres. I moved into the apartment two years ago and did a lot of improvements and refurbishing. The bathroom was completely redecorated and besides being brand new and luxuries, it is now more than twice the size it used to be. The kitchen was also redecorated and comes fully equipped for cooking and with a nice little eating area. The livingroom has a dining area and a seating area, TV with cable and my beloved record player with loads of records to be played with care and love :) The bedroom has a large doublebed and a giant closet. Right down the stairs, there is a great little yard where you can catch some sun (although that might be wishful thinking in January:)). And best of all, you couldn't live in a better location while visiting Copenhagen! Pisserenden is both hip, cosy, lively and extremely central. It is in the middle of Copenhagen, but in walking distance to trendy neighborhoods such as Vesterbro and Nørrebro. And at the same time, the central shopping street of Copenhagen: Strøget is literally right outside your door. All in all, the best place to stay while visiting Copenhagen! City Hall: 50 meters Copenhagen Central Station: 100 meters Tivoli: 50 meters Strøget (main shopping street): 30 meters There is a minimum of 3 nights. A cleening-fee of DKK 300,- will be charged.
