Hideaway is adjacent to Bali International School, 200 metres off the Sanur by-pass main road, in between the McDonalds and KFC landmarks. Sanur beach is 10 minutes walk, where there is a wonderful walkway along the beach, and scores of cafes. As Villa Hideaway is off any gangs (alleys) and roads its very quiet. The villa is surrounded by a secure high solid wall, with well-kept lawn and garden. It has four large bedrooms, all with ensuites. One bedroom is upstairs with its own balcony. The lounge/dining room is very large and kitchen fully-equipped. It also has a pembantu’s (maid’s) quarters and shower/toilet. The bedrooms are all split-system aircon, have wardrobes and side-tables, and hot/cold water showers. All bedrooms have sheets, pillows, quilts, towels. Hideaway has Indovision satellite TV with over 50 Channels including many channels (HBO, Fox etc), news (BBC, Aljazeera, CNN, Sky), Discovery, ESPN and Star Sport, Australia Network (ABC) etc. It has wireless internet ready to go. Description:Balian Beach Villa is a very unique Javanese house constructed from Teak wood just 75 meters from the beach. This house is over 100 years old and was brought from Java and erected again in Balian. The house can comfortably sleep 6 people. It has two proper bedrooms. The master bedroom has a large double bed and its own private bathroom with an open air shower so you see the moon and stars at night. The guest bedroom has a twin bed. Both bathrooms have hot water showers. There are also two Loft rooms. The front Loft room has a large double bed and the rear Loft room has a single bed. Both Loft rooms have separate entrances so every room in the house has its own privacy. The front Loft room also has a view of the ocean and access to an outside terrace, which is perfect for chilling out. The living room area is very large with probably one of the biggest chill out sofas in Bali. All of the doors and windows in the main area of the house can be opened accordion style so that the house is completely open air. There is also a large patio area that goes around two sides of the house with a pond and garden. If you feel like cooking, the house has a good size kitchen with all of the cooking utensils needed. There are also several restaurants just minutes away walking distance from the house. The closest one is just 75 meters from the house, which has great food, ocean view, and beachfront swimming pool that you can use. It’s a perfect place to relax, eat, and enjoy the sea view! This is my personal getaway house. I put a lot of thought into the design. Since I don’t stay in Balian full time, I have decided to let others enjoy this experience. It’s a rustic wood house with many antiques, wood furniture, and a magical feel to it. I was very creative in using natural resources when building this house, the more you look around the more detail you will notice. Most people who come here never want to leave. The house has a very chilled out feeling. At night time its even more relaxing with all of the colored glass lights. If you really want to feel like you’re in Indonesia, then this is the house you want to rent. It takes less than 1 minute to walk to the beach and Balian surf break!
