Description:Our holidayhome is located in a wooded area in a bungalowpark called the Eexterkoele. The bungalow is situated on a private property of 1200 m2 with terraces and lots of privacy and natural beauty.The bungalow itself is nice and cozy. It can accommodate four people, but a baby or small child can be added since we have a babycot available. The house is furnished as we like it, with a TV lounge, large dining table, wall unit with lots of DVDs, games etc. The large table we feel comfortable to play games to do, learn, crafts and food (all food we preferably outside). The kitchen is simple but with many cabinets and all supplies. We strive to rent a house where the customer will feel at home. It is emphatically not a big house. The bedrooms are small, like the bathroom, but everything you need to feel at home is there, good beds, good heating, well equipped kitchen and cozy living room. The following ites are included: coffee, tea, sugar, salt, pepper, detergent, tea towels, toilet paper, etc. Also there are lots of DVDs, CDs and board games for guests ready. For younger guests we have, on request, an (extra) camp bed, bikeseat, chair, etc. For our guest we have two bikes available. In the living room (with open kitchen) is a door to a bedroom with two single beds (you can use them together as a double bed) and there are doors opening onto a large terrace (with a large picnic table). The semi-open kitchen is equipped with fridge, stove, oven, microwave, kettle, senseo coffee maker, cutlery and cooking utensils, plenty of pots, dishes, glasses, plates etc.. Especially in the summer it's nice to relax at one of the two large picnic tables (which also can be put together for a very large company). One of the picnic tables is placed under a roof and can also beused in other seasons. Besides the wooden picnic tables, there are several other gardenfurniture, including some chairs, comfortable chairs and a large patio table with plenty of patio chairs. The bungalow has central heating and double glazing. There is a cozy gas fireplace for added warmth and sociability. There is a high-speed Internet connection (also wireless use) the large plasma-screen TV is connected to the network of KPN (digital tv). Our cozy, bungalow is situated on bungalowpark the Eexterkoele, located in the rolling hills of the Drentse Hondsrug between the green villages Annen and Eext in the municipality of Aa en Hunze in Drenthe, a unique place for nature, peace and cycling enthusiasts but with Assen, Groningen and Emmen approximately 15/20 minutes drive is the same for other vacationers a unique starting point for a great holiday.

The house is located on the Schild lake, on a plot of ca. 300 m2 and has its own mooring for two ships (depth approx. 1.50m), with swimming steps and garden shower. From your holiday home you will have access to the open waters to Appingedam, Groningen and the Wadden. You can also use a Canadian canoe (for a small fee). You can hire a boat in the adjacent yachting harbour. The apartment is atmospheric, very comfortable and ultimately suitable for water sports fans, or those looking for tranquillity. The Schildmeer is surrounded by nature. There is a variety of birds to watch. Because the house is facing west, you can enjoy splendid sunsets! Groningen has many foot- or bike-paths: along quiet roads and thru quiet nature. Travelling by bike, you can also experience the pretty little villages and enjoy the sometimes very old churches. Along the route you will see many beautiful open gardens. At the lake, near the house, is a pleasant sandy beach that is safe for children. A golf course is nearby. Horseback riding is also one of the options. Also you can take a walk along (or even around) the lake ( 2,5 hrs) or thru the Damsterbos. In Villa ten Hoeve you will find 2 large volumes, containing many tourist tips, car rides along beautiful sights in Groningen and also addresses of restaurants and museums. If you want to travel a little bit further away, you can go to the Bourtange fortified town, the Seal Centre Pieterburen, the Sea aquarium or in Delfzijl or a day trip to the beautiful German island ‘Borkum’. A 20 minutes drive brings you to the capital city of Groningen: Student City and the Cultural Capital of the North '. There you will find in only 1 square kilometer around the Great Market: Saturday: market, terraces, beautiful shops, many restaurants, parking garages, art galleries and beautiful Groninger Museum, an architectural masterpiece!
