Description:PROPERTY DESCRIPTION The apartment features two comfortable bedrooms with new and modern furniture. Open kitchen that faces the living-dining area. Full bathroom and fully equipped kitchen will make you feel like home. The patio area is a shared with the other two units in the building. However it is never crowed and always fun to have a glass of wine outside. Liquor stores, bars, groceries and restaurants are only few blocks away from the apartment. Some of the best restaurants are on our guest's guide and they are within walking distance: Flour and Water, Gratitude, Blowfish, Limon Rotisserie, and more. BART stations at Mission 24th or Mission 16th Street are only 112 and 17 minutes walking distance. If you are not a big fan of the BART, you can take Bus#27 one block away from the apartment, which it will take you to Union Square in 25 min. LOCATION DESCRIPTION Neighborhood: MISSION The Mission has the best weather in the city, especially this block. It is frequently warm and sunny when the rest of the city can be cold and foggy. In addition to that, it is less windy than many neighborhoods. Residents in the Mission are incredibly diverse. Artists, street people, professionals and the general SF lot mix. Its gentrification is making it one of the most desirable neighborhoods in the city. PARKING SITUATION There is no parking in the building. You can street parking for free, it is not limited and parking permit is not needed. Or you can park at the closest City-Owned Parking Garage located 9 minutes walking distance of the property (see directions on the property link). Bart station is only few blocks away so you don't need a car to move around. PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION & DISTANCES& DISTANCES Union Square is 2.6 miles away from the property: 12 min by car. 23 min by public transportation: Take BART (red, blue, green or yellow lines) right outside the property and stop at Powell St. Or, 47 min walking distance. The apartment is located on a quiet residential street two blocks from Bernal Hill Park, which has spectacular views of the city and the bay. It was once a corner store that has been tastefully remodeled to make it a very comfortable living space. It consists of one very large room plus an attractive bathroom and a closet. There are separate areas for sleeping, dining, cooking, working and relaxing. The kitchen, though compact, has a fridge, two burners, a microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker and filtered water on tap, as well as all the kitchenware and tableware you may need. It's all completely separate from our living space, which has it's own entrance in the back. The bed has a very comfortable new queen size mattress. The sleeping area is set off from the rest of the apartment by draperies. Yes, it's romantic, but you can also sleep an additional two people on the comfortable fold down sofa. There's even a thick mat in the closet if you have an extra person or want to do some yoga. Everything you need is a very short walk away on Cortland Street including quality interesting and affordable restaurants, cafes, bars, groceries, shops, services, two bakeries, a bookstore, a library, even an art gallery! There's also a farmer's market nearby on Saturdays, and two lovely parks. We love our neighborhood which is so friendly and livable! Transportation to Downtown (about two miles away) or any of the great San Francisco attractions is easy with frequent buses, and parking is always available. Two minutes from the front door you can catch a MUNI bus to the nearby BART (underground) station. Or take a walk over Bernal Hill to the BART or the Mission District and see the amazing views of the city and the Bay. Freeway access is nearby and easy.
