The fully equipped KITCHEN includes a full range (cooker), dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, coffee grinder, toaster, and blender. Cookware, dishes, glassware, silverware & cutlery, serving dishes, baking pans, spices, oil/vinegar and other basic necessities are all included. In the BEDROOM are two firm allergy free extra firm foam single size beds (which can be made separately or with a king size common top sheet/blanket combination) multiple changes of bed linens, blankets and towels, plus a dresser and ample closet space. There is a private, FULL BATHROOM with shower. The suite can accommodate up to four people. Private telephone line and Wi Fi (wireless) connection are available for your computer. Our own fax machine is also available for your use. We request that there be no smoking inside the Suite, but guests may smoke outside in the lovely garden. Washer and Dryer are available in the unit. This beautifully appointed apartment, with views, provide guests with a sophisticated eclectic setting. My husband and I live here and rent the place out often. You should expect a place that we ourselves keep very tidy and organized. The apartment is sunny and spacious. We provide clean towels. The morning of your stay, we change the bedding with newly-washed sheets and covers. Amenities: Free wireless and cable 40-inch screen TV Queen-sized Tempurpedic bed with goose-down comforter Complete kitchen Plenty of cozy seating for reading a book in the sunlight Desk with ample lighting to get work done Hard-wood floors throughout apartment Coin-operated laundry in the basement The best part about our place is the location. Forget the hassle of a rental car and spare yourself the risk of parking tickets. Transportation Our train system BART has a stop at Powell six blocks away from the apartment. You can BART in and out from SFO. There are multiple bus lines that go up and down our street and the adjacent streets. You can catch #2 Clement and #3 Jackson on our block of Sutter. Experience the cable car by waiting two blocks away at the intersection of Sutter and Powell. Hop on like the locals. Do not wait in the long tourist queue at Powell and Market. Easier to catch cabs in our neighborhood versus others. If you do need to rent a car (i.e., for a day trip to wine country), I would recommend calling the quick, efficient, and great value City Rent a Car on Bush Street six blocks away. Attractions Walking distance to SFMoma, Grace Cathedral, Chinatown, Jewish Contemporary Museum. Restaurants / Bars On our block is Ryoko’s which has some of the best sushi in the city. This is where the sushi chefs go when they want sushi! Fun atmosphere and open late night. Go to Neiman Marcus and have tea at the rotunda while taking in the view of Union Square. Cheesecake Factory is at the top of Macy’s at Union Square. If you’re willing to wait in line, the food is good, the portions generous, and the cheesecake divine. The Gold Dust Lounge on Powell has a very fun live band every single night. Top of the Mark straight up the hill for a drink, killer views, and dancing. Amber India on Market has a daily lunch buffet which is amazing—and I do not normally like Indian food. Press Club across from Amber India has a cool vibe where you can drink wine from an assortment of vineyards. Other I did mention that you are two blocks away from Union Square, right? Saks Fifth Avenue, Tiffany’s, Nike, Levi’s, Macy’s. Also nearby—the Westfield shopping center, Nordstroms, and the Apple store. Club One gym two blocks away.

Description:My apartment is a 1 bedroom/1 bathroom with tub, about 800 square feet, in a vintage 1920's building. Lots of sun light, hardwood floors, crown moldings, vintage charm. It has a dishwasher and a microwave, cable TV, wifi internet, and laundry. Street parking. Queen sized memory foam mattress. 52 LCD television, DVR, small 1950's vintage dining table in living room. Full kitchen access. Apartment is accessed by either a main stair case (on 2nd floor) or an elevator. There is also on-site coin operated laundry, and a locked room to store your bike. Neighbors in the building are quiet, but friendly. A nice mix of singles and couples, ranging in age from 30's to 50's. Nice mix of artists and professionals, from all ethnic backgrounds and walks of life. The building manager lives on-site. The apartment is located in the back of the building and looks out onto the building's own private peaceful garden, with bench seating, a heat lamp, and multiple BBQ's. It is just 1 block to Lake Merritt and Fairy Land, 2 blocks to Whole Foods market, and walking distance to BART which takes you into San Francisco in about 15-20 minutes. It is also just a few blocks to the freeway on-ramp which takes you to San Francisco or Berkeley (for those of you with a car). The apartment is also walking distance to the Grand Lake shopping district and theater, cafes and bars. (Check out Coach Sushi, The Alley bar, and Neecha Thai!) This area also offers shopping like Trader Joe's, Walgreens and the Saturday Farmer's Market near the Grand Lake Theater. The apartment is also walkable to the Uptown district with it's many bars, restaurants, and the famous Paramount and Fox Theaters. And, you are a very short drive (maybe 1 mile) from the hip Jack London Square area with it's many shops, restaurants, bars, etc (try Yoshi's Jazz lounge or the Fat Lady Cafe!). The best part is being able to walk right outside the building door, taking a stroll around Lake Merritt, and then finishing the day with a bite to eat and a cocktail on the pier of the Lake Chalet (Check out their Taco Tuesdays!). If you love the water, the Lake Merritt Boat House even offers romantic gondola rides as well as renting a canoe/kayak for athletic types that want to explore the lake themselves. The apartment has rooftop access, which gives you great views of the city. The neighborhood is very nice and safe. Parking is on the street, and does not require a permit. I am seeking 1-2 people who are very mature, quiet, non-smokers, no pets, clean, responsible, and will respect both my personal belongings, and my neighbors.
