Description:This is an open plan, well-lit, contemporary, fully furnished, luxurious house in a charming neighborhood of Monta Loma in Mountain View, on the border with Palo Alto. Perfect for a family with children or even 2 families/couples, this house easily sleeps 6 and comes complete with a hot tub. The house has a large fully equipped kitchen with state of the art appliances, separate living, dining and family rooms with a wood burning fireplace, with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. Master bedroom has its own bathroom, separate entrance, and a California King bed. The second bedroom has a Queen size bed and shares the second bathroom with a large tub. The third bedroom serves as an office, complete with 2 desks, printer, monitors, etc. The house has washer/dryer, central-air and air-conditioning, comes with wireless internet, cable TV and 3 large TVs. Outside there is a large yard with mature trees, extra patio space, gas BBQ setup, and HotSprings hot tub big enough for 6. Exercise equipment in the garage includes an elliptical machine, separate TV with cable, TRX setup, free weights, etc. Washer and dryer are in the garage as well. 5-10 min drive takes you to either downtown Mountain View or downtown Palo Alto for their lovely shops and restaurants. San Antonio caltrain stop is just a short walk/drive away to take you all the way to San Francisco. Hiking in the Santa Cruz mountains or visiting the beaches of the Half Moon Bay or Santa Cruz are good ways to spend your weekends here. We are minutes away from freeway, biking distance (15 minutes driving) from Stanford and downtown Palo Alto, 40 minutes south of San Francisco and 40 minutes north of Santa Cruz beaches, located right between two major airports (20 minutes to both San Francisco and San Jose Airports). Unit is on upper floor of two story complex, and has dedicated covered parking spot. Nice quite neighborhood with lots of green and fountains. Very easy access to 101 (major bay area freeway) - 45 minutes from San Francisco. Nearby Santana Row offers local shopping. Tons of great places to eat on El Camino Real about 1 mile away. Also very close to the Lawrence Caltrain station, which can take you to San Francisco in just over an hour. To the South, Santa Cruz and Monterey are about an hour away. Locally, Sunnyvale and Mountain View have quaint downtowns within 5 miles of the apartment. Farmer's Markets nearby on Saturday and Sunday. We can provide everything you'll need for your stay (bedding, towels, fully furnished kitchen). Note we don't have a TV, so if you're planning on spending a lot of time watching television, this might not be the place for you. Description:Our Home We have a large, spacious modern loft apartment in San Francisco's South Beach neighborhood. The apartment is approximately 1200 square feet (~110 square meters) and has a lofted bedroom area with queen bed, large living and dining area, kitchen and office space. The design of the apartment is such that it is all one large space, with the sleeping area raised above the rest of the living space. Our apartment can sleep two adults very comfortably for children or additional guest we have a deluxe inflatable bed (queen sized). There is one large bathroom with tub and laundry in our unit. We are in a very convenient location for public transit and sightseeing. We are a short (~5 min) walk from AT&T park, and all of the dining options in the South Beach area. We are a 5 minute walk from the Muni streetcar, 10 minutes from BART and 10 minutes from Caltrain, which will get you anywhere in the city as well as to the east bay (Oakland and Berkeley) and the Peninsula (Palo Alto, Mountain View, San Jose). We are approximately 10 minutes walk to the downtown financial district, 10 minutes walk from Yerba Buena Gardens and SF Museum of Modern Art, and 15 minutes walk from the Powell street / Union square shopping and dining area.
