Enjoy a morning coffee looking out at the waves, and an evening wine with a sunset right from the comfort of your home away from home. It's a one bedroom/one bath apartment but it's much more spacious than one might imagine, with the most incredible light streaming through the wall of windows that overlook the ocean. It's also very private, and PARKING is EASY. :) Perfect for surfers, hikers, and beach lovers, this place is blocks from a cafes, restaurants, and markets on Noriega and steps from the beach. It's a short bike ride on a dedicated bike path to Golden Gate park (and all the myriad museums such as the De Young Museum, the Academy of Sciences, etc) the Cliff House, 9 hole golf in Golden Gate park, Lake Merced Golf Course, the Beach Chalet, and the San Francisco Zoo (Two bikes provided.) This huge bedroom has new wool carpeting, and the main sun room is hardwood with real wool area rugs. It's attractively furnished, with new dinner and cookware. Appliances are serviceable. No cable and no TV make it a relaxing getaway from the ordinary! Wireless provided if you care to watch media on your laptop. This 7 unit building was built in 1913. It is my home and I would like to share it with you!

Description:We are renting out our one bedroom home from Jan 13-24, 2012. We are located at the entrance to the Lands End Trail with the Sutro baths as our front yard. Every window in our house has a full view of the ocean with cyprus trees surrounding it. The Lands End trail is across the street and it winds around the ocean and bay with a view of the Golden Gate Bridge for miles. We are only a few blocks from Golden Gate Park and steps from Ocean Beach. It is the most gorgeous part of San Francisco. There is parking galore in front of our home, but also public transit. The 38 Geary stops one block away which can take you downtown in 20-25 minutes. The N-Judah train is a 12 minute walk, the Fulton 5 bus is a 10 minute walk. Our place is very clean (no shoes allowed), there's a fully stocked kitchen, and all the amenities of a full one-bedroom home. We are charging 99/night. We have a sweet cat who we would like you to pet and put more food in his dish every 4 or 5 days. NO SMOKING, NO PETS, NO SHOES IN HOUSE. We are happy to send more pics if you would like. We hope you can enjoy our beach home as much as we do!!!

Description:Montara is a wonderful little town, being right on the ocean with beautiful rolling hills to walk in. You feel like you are out in the country but it is just a hop skip and a jump to San Francisco, Half Moon Bay, Santa Cruz, even Marin County, The East Bay and Palo Alto and the rest of The Peninsula. You can take beautiful walks in the hills and neighborhood and down to the beach, hang out in the quant little town of Half Moon Bay or take a day trip. Our house is very inviting because it is spacious and warm with a great kitchen and the skylights keep it light late into the evening. There are two bedrooms and an office that has a futon that can pull out into a pretty comfortable double bed. Also, a peaceful backyard to enjoy a morning tea or coffee.
