Description:This Napa Valley secluded and private 'retreat' is a light and airy hillside country home w/ 2bdrms (2queens) w/2 bths, lg kitchen, livingrm, sunroom, garden patio. Ideal for two couples or a family with kids. There is a fold out sleeper couch in the sunroom with no additional charge, so you can sleep 4-5 (if one person doesn't mind not having a private room). Rent the main house with 2bdrms/ 2 baths option for $325/nt. or rent the entire 3 bdrm/2.5 bath house (for maximum privacy and full run of the house- sleeps 6-8) for $400/nt. The 3rd bedroom is a very spacious studio apt attached to house (from kitchen) with sitting area/TV, breakfast bar, laundry and half bath. The location is only 5 mins. to downtown St. Helena, many wineries, CIA and other fine dining, hiking, biking, art galleries, shopping and 10 minutes to Calistoga spas/mudbaths. Sleeps 4 adults with fold-out beds for additional guests on approval. Pet friendly with fenced area and pet door. min drive to Sonoma town center. A perfect location for the serious wine collector. Within a 10 minute drive there are over 30 wineries in Sonoma. we are near to 8th. st. east in Sonoma(1/3m) which is becoming a center for boutique wineries. Napa Valley is a 15 minute drive. We have discount coupons some of our local wineries. Also a good place to stay if you like good food. There are great restaurants in Sonoma and Napa and we are a 50 min. drive to San Francisco. Besides great wine, Sonoma Valley produces olive oil, cheese, honey and gourmet chocolates. There are several excellent brew pubs. Even our local corner store offers wine tasting. There are 2 farmers markets in Sonoma with local produce on Friday mornings and Tuesday evenings-the Tuesday market also has music and prepared food. We have a fully stocked kitchen for your use. Inside dining room table seats 8. There is a barbeque and outside table on the first story deck. House amenities- -Master suite has fireplace, hot tub on outside second story deck(great view) and tiled bathroom with overesized bathtub, Cal King bed with memory foam mattress. -Sunken living room with cathedral ceilings. -Kitchen is fully stocked with linen, china, glasses, spices and condiments. Description:Rustic cabin, built in 1901, now being lovingly nuzzled back to beauty. Spacious and cozy, woodsy and bright, two bedrooms and two lofts and two big porches overlooking the Russian River Valley. A five-minute walk from the river, a five-minute drive from a bunch of wineries, and twenty-five minutes from the unbelievable Sonoma coast. No internet. No TV. No phone. Yes hummingbirds and the occasional deer. Amenities include plenty of good books, a not-so-good record player, a harmonica, a wood-burning stove, and a half-dozen innertubes ready for the river. The sleeping spots are: a queen-sized bed in the master bedroom a two-person sleeping loft at the top of a ladder a twin mattress that can be on the floor of the study and plenty of deck space for sleeping under the stars. Exciting Cleanliness Update: To keep everything simple and happy, I now (as of November) employ an actual professional to get the place all clean and sparkling for guests. Disclaimer: The place is a hundred years old and the renovation is still a work-in-progress, so there are still some quirks and rough edges: the kitchen table wobbles, the refrigerator is a mini-fridge, the half-bathroom door doesn't latch, etc. If things like that sound like rustic charm, this house is for you if they sound like offensive hazards, probably not.

Description:Lake house (two bedroom) in Kelseyville, CA with views of Clear Lake, mountains, and walnut orchards. It is a pretty quiet, rural neighborhood. The house has a master bedroom with a queen size bed with attached bathroom with shower. The guest bathroom has a shower and tub. The second bedroom has 2 twin beds and view of the lake. The living room has a working woodburning stove inserted into a fireplace and heats the house really well and also features large windows to see view of lake. The garage is built below the house, so there are stairs to climb to get into the living quarters to take advantage of the lake/mountain/orchard views. The house has a new heater and air conditioner. It also has a new front door and two new garage doors, and a new deck. There is a kitchen with microwave, wall oven, stove top, dishwasher, refrigerator, and everything needed to cook your own meals. There is also a washer and dryer for convenience. It is a country setting, so you will see wild turkeys and deer roaming around. In the fall, you will be able to gather walnuts from several of our walnut trees. There are several casinos not far away. Also there are several restauants to choose from and small shops to hunt for hidden treasures. If you like boating, there are several places to launch ones boat. Bass fishing is very popular and there is Bass fishing competions yearly. The weather gets hot in the summer time, so great place to achieve a tan. There is a state park and county park not far from our house. It is a great place to take long hikes and launch boats. There is a home owner's club house where one can go swimming and play ping pong when it is open. They have several functions a year, such as Saint Patrick's Day Party, Xmas Party/Crafts Fair, etc. There is a great deck in the front and side of our house to enjoy the weather and views and a swing in the front yard. It is very peaceful and tranquil in our neighborhood. There is a bus service one can catch at different locations that will take one to several different areas around the lake. We love going to our lake house, where it is so peaceful and calm.
