Description:Casa Kalama is a traditional Portuguese style villa with authentic whitewashed walls and a beautiful roof terrace with sea views. The villa also has its own private kidney shaped pool. The villa is ideally situated for all your holiday needs in the residential area of Sesmarias 5 minutes by car from Carvoeiro and Ferragudo, Carvoeiro tennis club is near by and beach lovers will be truly spoilt for choice with the secluded Caneiros beach only five minutes away by car as well as the beaches of Carvoeiro and ferragudo also within easy reach. The Villa is located in the quiet hamlet of Sesmarias which is located slightly inland 5 minutes by car from Carvoeiro. The villa boasts a range of amenities on its doorstep with 3 restaurants, a mini market and the traditional Portuguese Rosa’s Bar within a 5 minute walk, with a vast array of bars and restaurants in Carvoeiro a 5 minute drive from the villa. Bedrooms: Master bedroom with double bed and shower room, bedroom 2 with twin beds. Bathrooms: 1 Bathroom with shower over bath. Separate shower in master bedroom. Kitchen: Brand new kitchen, cooker, hob, fridge freezer, washing machine. Utility Room: Washing machine Living Rooms: Lounge, dinning table, English television, CD player, sofa. Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: Property is cleaned at beginning and end of one week stay, a mid week clean can be arranged if requested and a linen and towel change is included in the middle of a two week stay. Amenities/Facilities provided hob/stove, oven, fridge/freezer, washing machine, cable tv, tv, central heating, cot, high chair, barbecue, private pool (for sole use of guests) Outside Kidney shaped swimming pool, roof terrace, table, chairs and umbrella, sun loungers and barbecue all included. Coast/Beach Carvoeiro Beach 5 minutes by car - sandy busy town beach, boat trips to the coves can be taken from here. Caneiros - 5 minutes by car - lovely sandy beach popular with families, lovely restaurant directly on beach. Ferragudo/ Praia Grande, 7 minutes by car - beautiful wide sandy beach, great play area for children, and several beach bars, one with Live jazz every Sunday. Golf You have a choice of three local golf courses and as many as you want if you travel further afield. Gramacho and Pinta (within 3 km. of Carvoeiro) are both full 18 hole courses, with Pinta being slightly more challenging. They are likely to be relatively quiet in June as it is the off season for Portuguese golf. It will also be extremely hot unless you tee off before about 9.30am or after 4.30am (when both courses offer special twilight deals). There is a theoretical maximum handicap allowed on Pinta and Gramacho but it is unlikely anyone will be asked to prove their handicap, however, people have been turned away for not having golf shoes with soft spikes and a shirt with sleeves and collar etc. Neither course is snobby, there are very few members so you are more likely to play with holidaying golfers than anyone else. The other local course is Vale de Milho which is a par 3, 9 hole, in excellent condition, and that has a wonderfully relaxed attitude to the game. Travel Closest Airport is Faro, it is approximately 1 hour 20 minutes drive to the villa from the airport. Distances 5 minutes to Carvoeiro, 5 minutes to Ferragudo, 10 minutes to Silves, 10 minutes to Portimao. Further details There are several local shops and restaurants 2 minutes walk from the villa.
