Surrounded by majestic alpine scenery, we are only 15 minutes from the bright lights of Queenstown and 5 minutes from the quaint and historical settlement of Arrowtown and The Hills course - home of the NZ Open Golf Championship. Award - winning Millbrook Resort is also close by (just three minutes' drive from the front gate of Willowbrook) and we are within easy reach of 5 skifields and 4 very picturesque golf courses. The four acres of mature garden surrounding the Main House of Willowbrook contain a tennis court, a luxurious spa pool and some very friendly sheep. Our self-catering accommodation comprises The COTTAGE and The BARN. Both are within the gardens of Willowbrook only a short distance from The Main House. The COTTAGE provides delightfully comfortable accommodation for four people. It has queen and twin single bedrooms, both with ensuite bathroom (one with large wet area and bathtub). Full kitchen and laundry facilities ensure that all the conveniences of home are at your fingertips. The Cottage has wireless broadband for your laptop, Sky TV for your entertainment and there is a gas barbecue on the sundeck which surrounds The Cottage. Views are up to Coronet Peak and over wetlands to the west. The BARN is a tastefully renovated hay barn consisting of two very large rooms and is perfect for those looking for a self-catering environment. The main room has a super king bed, ensuite bathroom, lounge area, dining table and chairs and a fully equipped kitchenette. Through a connecting door, The Annex has twin single and bunk beds and is available for extra members of the same party. On the sunny north side of The Barn is a covered deck with gas barbecue - the perfect spot to relax in the shade in the summer (or to tune-up those skis in the winter!)

Description:The Farmhouse La Normande . The listed cheese-cover farmhouse at Binnenwijzend was built in 1857. This distinctive property is located in the Grootslag polder just outside Westwoud, a picturesque West Frisian village between the historic towns of Hoorn, Medemblik and Enkhuizen. Your hostess, the French farmer’s daughter Christine Bataille lives at the front of the house with her children. The former animal quarters at the back have been converted into guest accommodation with a terrace providing a view over fields and meadows with cows and sheep as far as the eye can see. A lot of space around to park your car, or for the children to play. Also people with handicap can easily walk around because there are no stairs anywhere at home and outside. You can rent by us a bike. You can catch the train 1 mile away to go quietly to Amsterdam. The guest accommodation consists of four double rooms. It is possible to put in an extra bed. Each room has a luxury bathroom and toilet, television and an internet connection. If you wish, you can borrow a laptop. There are no thresholds inside the house. One of the rooms is specially equipped for disabled visitors. Guests may also use the large terrace, the lawn (with trampoline) and the spacious lounge, where Christine serves a West Frisian breakfast in the morning. Guests who stay longer may use the kitchen, the washing machine and the drier. This province surrounded by water on three sides, has so much to offer for a varied short or long holiday.
