The apartment is on the ground floor: 2 bedrooms, living room, well equipped kitchen and bathroom are all accessible through a spacious hall in the middle. You can use the internet wifi connection at no extra costs. Lisbon is at 30 minutes by car or train, as is the beach, walking. Also the Casino of Estoril, charming Cascais and the palace of Sintra are within half an hour reach.The apartment is not extremely luxurous but very cost effective if you like to live among the locals in a comfortable place, spending your days in all kinds of different ways going to lots of different places.Outside you find on the other side of the street all the shops you need for your daily necessities. Take advantage of the numerous pastelarias, so typically Portuguese, for your daily dosis of cafeine or even a complete lunch or take away meal. For a more elaborated culinary experience you find your restaurants in the old city centre of Paço de Arcos. If you want to eat as a Portuguese amongst the Portuguese, do not miss the 'Solar da Loba': in the street turn right and imediately left again, you'll find the restaurant at the end of that street on your left. They serve good quality at practically no costs and it is the best place to be when watching the Portuguese national football team.
