Description:(Minimum of one week rental required) Villa Annah is a nicely restored farm house consisting of the main house and an annex (formally the barn). It's situated on a hill near the charming, medieval town of Camairore, about 10 km from the spa haven of Forte Dei Marmi, and 25 km from the walled city of Lucca. The villa is comfortably furnished and outside is a large pool/garden area (pool open May - September), perfect for soaking up the Tuscan sun. Villa Annah is about 300 sq. meters and is comprised of two levels. On the ground level is a nicely appointed living area with sofas, chairs, fireplace and Satellite TV, a large dining room seating eight guests, a fully equipped kitchen (stove, oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, washing machine), and a guest bathroom with shower. The upper floor consists of three spacious, air conditioned double bedrooms and two bathrooms (one ensuite). Two of the bedrooms have direct access out onto a terrace. Description:This farmhouse is located in the countryside near Lucca, in an area named e2809cArsinae2809d, famous for its wine. Its unique position allows the guests to enjoy a superb view, while only 15 minutes away from the centre of town. The interiors have been painted in light colors, are comfortably furnished and preserve a distinctive Tuscan style with typical ceilings of wooden beams and traditional cotto tiled floors. The high location of the house, its efficient insulation, and the ceiling fans, installed in most of the bedrooms, ensure that the temperature at La Rocca remains comfortable even during the hottest nights of the Summer. Outdoor meals can be enjoyed on a gracious terrace, furnished for al fresco dining, looking over the surrounding valleys and hills. From the swimming pool, located on a level just above the house, stunning views can be appreciated both during the day and at night. The location of La Rocca makes it an ideal base for guests who wish to combine a relaxing holiday in the Tuscan countryside with the possibility to enjoy day trips to the near cities of art, such as Florence, Siena and Pisa, nevertheless, the Versilian endless coast, with its night clubs and restaurants, is only half an hour away. For those who enjoy playing tennis, there is a court at only a 10 minute drive away from the property. From our experience, when a connection is interrupted due to technical reasons beyond our control, it is unfortunately very difficult, despite our efforts, to receive immediate assistance from some of the internet providers operating in Italy. We therefore strongly suggest that those who need to access their emails should bring their own BlackBerry, or a similar portable device. Some of them can be accessed only by unsealed roads and driveways. We therefore advise people intending to take a sports or low-slung car on holiday, to check with us first whether the access to the property allows for such a car. We advise against the use of vans and minibuses. It features a private swimming pool, two private patios, a private garden, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access. n nYou will be roughly 3 km (1.8 miles) from Monsummano Terme , where you will find restaurants, a grocery store and public transportation. You will find the closest restaurant at 1.5 km (roughly 1 mile). n nTo stay at Villa Eccelsa you will need a car. You will be able to park it inside the entrance gate. Please note that access to Villa Eccelsa is along an 800-meter (half-a-mile) unpaved road. n nThe swimming pool is 8 meters (26 feet) large by 16 meters (52 feet) long. It is an infinity pool, has a whirlpool corner and has a counter-current swimming machine. The swimming pool area is equipped with tables, chairs, sun umbrellas, sun loungers and an external shower.
