Description:The Avista Resort is a great place for anyone to stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the rooms are awesome. We stayed in a 3 bedroom oceanfront condo unit and I have zero complaints. We will definately be back. The location is perfect, 10 minutes from Bearfoot Landing. I recommend this resort to anyone planning a trip to Myrtle Beach.

Description:Our room was dirty and linens were worn out. Hotel moved us to a different room but we lost our oceanview. Hotel is noisy (doors slamming and a banging sound coming from somewhere) and the construction next to the hotel caused problems (noise and road closures). Should easily find a better place for the prices the charge (which wa extremely high). As for the beach, the Florida/Alabama gulf coast is far superior than the beaches here.
